الرئيس جوزاف عون يضع خطة 2025: نزع سلاح حزب الله بالحوار لا بالمواجهة

كشف قائد الجيش اللبناني، العماد جوزاف عون، في مقابلة حصرية مع صحيفة “العربي الجديد”، أن هدفه الاستراتيجي للعام 2025 يتمثل في حصر السلاح بيد الدولة اللبنانية، من خلال حوار مباشر مع حزب الله، بعيداً عن أي مواجهة أو فرض بالقوة.

أكد عون أن حزب الله أظهر خلال الفترة الماضية انضباطاً واضحاً ووعياً سياسياً في عدم الرد على الاستفزازات الإسرائيلية، موضحاً أن الحزب لا يخطط لخوض أي حرب جديدة، وهو ما يدل على التزامه بالاستقرار الداخلي.

وفي ما يخص إمكانية إدماج عناصر حزب الله في المؤسسة العسكرية، شدد عون على أن الجيش لن يعيد إنتاج تجربة الحشد الشعبي العراقي، حيث لن تُنشأ أي وحدة خاصة داخل الجيش تمثل الحزب، لكن يمكن انضمام عناصره بعد الخضوع لدورات تدريب وتأهيل، على غرار ما جرى مع عدد من الأحزاب بعد الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية.

وفي الجانب السياسي، شدد عون على توافقه الكامل مع رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري بخصوص حصر السلاح بيد الدولة، مؤكداً أن أي خطوة في هذا الإطار يجب أن تتم بتأنٍ لتجنب الانزلاق إلى صراع داخلي.

وقال عون: أبلغت المبعوثة الأميركية مورغان أورتاغوس أننا نريد سحب سلاح حزب الله ولكن دون جر البلاد إلى حرب أهلية.

أما بشأن موقف الولايات المتحدة، فأوضح أن الأميركيين يعلمون أن الحديث عن التطبيع أو المفاوضات مع إسرائيل غير وارد حالياً، نافياً أن تكون هناك أي لجان دبلوماسية مشتركة مع الجانب الإسرائيلي.

كما صرّح بأن استمرار إسرائيل في التمركز داخل النقاط الحدودية الخمس المتنازع عليها يعطي لحزب الله مبرراً للاستمرار في التسلّح، وكشف أن الأجهزة الأمنية اللبنانية تمتلك بصمات مطلقي الصواريخ باتجاه إسرائيل، وإذا كانوا لبنانيين، فسيُكشف عن هويتهم قريباً.

وحول زيارته الأخيرة إلى قطر، أوضح عون أنها تهدف إلى توجيه الشكر لدولة قطر على دعمها الدائم، وطلب الاستمرار في دعم الجيش اللبناني، بالإضافة إلى جذب استثمارات في قطاعات استراتيجية كالكهرباء والنفط.

In a revealing interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun announced that his strategic goal for 2025 is to centralize all arms under state control. He emphasized that achieving this objective requires direct dialogue with Hezbollah rather than confrontation.

Aoun affirmed that Hezbollah has demonstrated significant restraint and political awareness in recent months by avoiding retaliation against repeated Israeli violations. He stated that the group is not planning any new conflict, which reflects its commitment to maintaining internal stability.

Regarding the potential integration of Hezbollah members into the Lebanese Army, Aoun firmly ruled out creating any independent units similar to Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces. However, he opened the door for individual members to join the army through training and assimilation programs, similar to those used for former militia members after Lebanon's civil war.

Aoun also expressed his full alignment with Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri on the issue of arms control, stressing that any steps taken must be calculated to avoid igniting a civil war.

He stated, “I told U.S. envoy Morgan Ortagus that we aim to disarm Hezbollah without pushing Lebanon into internal conflict.”

On the American position, Aoun noted that U.S. officials understand that peace negotiations or normalization with Israel are currently unrealistic. He denied any discussions about forming joint diplomatic committees with the Israeli side.

He further explained that Israel’s continued occupation of five disputed border points provides Hezbollah with justification to remain armed. He revealed that Lebanese security agencies now possess the fingerprints of individuals who launched rockets toward Israel, and if they are Lebanese nationals, their identities will soon be confirmed.

Speaking about his visit to Qatar, Aoun stated that the purpose was to thank Qatar for its ongoing support and to encourage further aid for the Lebanese Army, as well as investments in key sectors such as electricity and oil.
