وفي منشور له عبر حسابه على منصة “إكس” يوم الأربعاء، قال الحسيني: “إسرائيل، التي نجحت في طرد إيران والجماعات الموالية لها من سوريا، لا يمكن أن تقبل بوجود تركيا كبديل لإيران على الأراضي السورية. ومن المتوقع أن تتحرك إسرائيل عسكريًا ضد أي شحنة أسلحة تركية إذا شكلت تهديدًا لها، كما ستسعى إلى منع تواجد أي عناصر موالية لتركيا على حدودها.”

وأضاف الحسيني أن المرحلة القادمة قد تشهد تصعيدًا كبيرًا بين أنقرة وتل أبيب في الساحة السورية، مشددًا على أن “لا علاقة لسوريا بذلك ولا مصلحة لها في هذا الصراع”. كما دعا إلى ضرورة “حفظ سوريا وشعبها من شر الفتن والمحن” في ظل الأوضاع المتقلبة التي تعيشها البلاد.

Turkish – Israeli Military Confrontation Expected in Syria: Al-Husseini Reveals the Backstage

Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al-Husseini, the former Secretary-General of the Arab Islamic Council, has warned about the potential for a military confrontation between Israel and Turkey in Syria. He pointed out that the current security, military, and political tensions in the region make this scenario “very, very likely,” signaling a dangerous escalation on the horizon.

In a post on his account on the “X” platform this Wednesday, Al-Husseini stated: “Israel, which has successfully expelled Iran and its affiliated groups from Syria, cannot and will not accept Turkey as a replacement for Iran on Syrian soil. Israel is expected to take military action against any Turkish weapon shipment that poses a threat to it, and it will aim to prevent any pro-Turkish elements from being stationed along its borders.”

Al-Husseini added that the coming period might witness further escalation between Ankara and Tel Aviv in the Syrian theater, emphasizing that “Syria has no part or stake in this conflict.” He also called for “protecting Syria and its people from the harm of strife and trials” amid the ongoing instability in the country.
