عون: لا خلاص للبنان إلا بالتكاتف والتعاضد لمكافحة الفساد
هنّأ رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون اللبنانيين بشكل عام، والمسلمين بشكل خاص، بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر المبارك، الذي جاء بعد انقضاء الشهر الفضيل، الذي ساهم في تعزيز الفضائل في نفوس اللبنانيين، وأبرز دعوة الخير والمحبة في حياة البشر.
القيم التي تميز لبنان:
وأشار الرئيس عون إلى أن ما يميز لبنان هو تمسك شعبه بالقيم التي تقوم على الوحدة والتكاتف، والترفع عن الأنانيات والمصالح الشخصية التي تروج لها الأديان السماوية. هذه القيم التي تعتبر الأساس في بناء مجتمع يطمح إلى التعاون والخير لجميع أفراده.
التكاتف لمكافحة الفساد:
وأكد الرئيس عون في حديثه أن لبنان لن يكون في مأمن من الأزمات التي يواجهها إلا إذا عاش المواطنون وفق هذه القيم. وهذه القيم تمثل السبيل الوحيد إلى جانب تطبيق القوانين وتحقيق العدالة لمحاربة الفساد، كما أنها تمهد الطريق لتحقيق الإصلاحات البنيوية في المؤسسات الوطنية، الأمر الذي يؤدي إلى النهوض بالبلاد لتواكب التطور والحداثة في العالم.
مرحلة جديدة من تاريخ لبنان:
وأعرب عون عن إيمانه الراسخ بأن لبنان قد دخل مرحلة جديدة من تاريخه، بعد عقود من العنف، الحروب، والأزمات الاقتصادية والمالية التي أصابت الدولة بالترهل. وطمأن الجميع قائلاً: “لا عودة إلى الوراء، ولن تتراخى همتنا، ولن يلين عزمنا لتحقيق ما عاهدت اللبنانيين على تحقيقه، بالتعاون والتضامن مع الحكومة والمجلس النيابي، وقوى المجتمع المدني”.
Aoun: Lebanon's Salvation Lies in Solidarity and Unity to Fight Corruption
Lebanese President Michel Aoun congratulated all Lebanese citizens in general, and Muslims in particular, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, following the completion of the holy month that reinforced virtues and the call for goodness and love in human life.
Lebanon's Core Values:
President Aoun expressed his firm belief that what distinguishes Lebanon is its commitment to values of unity, solidarity, and rising above personal selfishness and interests, values that are promoted by heavenly religions. These values form the foundation of a society that strives for cooperation and well-being for all its people.
Solidarity in the Fight Against Corruption:
President Aoun stated that there will be no salvation for Lebanon unless the citizens live according to these values. These principles, he emphasized, represent the only way—alongside enforcing laws and achieving justice—to fight corruption. Moreover, they pave the way for structural reforms within national institutions, which will lead to Lebanon’s revival to keep up with global progress and modernity.
A New Chapter in Lebanon's History:
He further affirmed that Lebanon has entered a new phase in its history, following decades of violence, wars, and economic crises that caused the state to weaken. He reassured the people saying, “There is no turning back. Our will shall not weaken, and our determination will not falter in achieving what I promised the Lebanese people, with the collaboration and solidarity of the government, parliament, and civil society forces.”
