في بيان صادر عن اتحاد وبلديات الضاحية الجنوبية، تم التأكيد على أهمية سلامة المواطنين في الضاحية في ظل الأوضاع الأمنية الصعبة. حيث دعا الاتحاد جميع المواطنين في المنطقة إلى ضرورة الامتناع عن إطلاق المفرقعات والألعاب النارية في عيد الفطر المبارك هذا العام، وذلك احترامًا لمشاعر الأهالي، خاصة في ظل العدوان الإسرائيلي المستمر الذي طال مناطق الضاحية الجنوبية والبقاع، والذي أسفر عن تدمير الأبنية وسقوط شهداء.
وأضاف البيان، أن فرحة العيد هذا العام ممزوجه بالحزن بسبب الأحداث الجارية، ما يتطلب من الجميع التحلي بالمسؤولية. كما شدد على ضرورة عدم بيع المفرقعات تحت طائلة إغلاق المحال التجارية المعنية، و منع إطلاق النار في الهواء، حيث سيتم ملاحقة كل من يخالف هذه التوجيهات قانونًا.
ختامًا، ناشد الاتحاد جميع المواطنين والتجار بالتجاوب الكامل مع التوجيهات، لضمان الأمن والسلامة العامة، وتمنى لجميع اللبنانيين عيدًا مباركًا مليئًا بالأمن والاستقرار.
Important Statement from the Union of Municipalities of the Southern Suburbs to the Residents:
In a statement issued by the Union of Municipalities of the Southern Suburbs, the Union stressed the importance of public safety in the area amid the ongoing security concerns. The Union requested that all citizens refrain from setting off fireworks and firing guns this year during Eid al-Fitr, out of respect for the feelings of the residents, especially considering the continued Israeli aggression on the Southern Suburbs and the Bekaa Valley, which has resulted in the destruction of buildings and the loss of lives.
The statement further emphasized that the joy of Eid this year is mixed with sorrow due to the ongoing events, making it necessary for everyone to act responsibly. The Union also warned against the sale of fireworks under penalty of shutting down the relevant shops and firing weapons in the air, with legal action being pursued against violators.
Finally, the Union called on all residents and traders to fully comply with the directives in order to ensure public safety, wishing all Lebanese a blessed Eid filled with peace and stability.
