نقل موقع “معاريف” الإسرائيلي عن رئيس مجلس مستوطنة المطلة قوله إن اتفاق الهدنة بين إسرائيل وحزب الله “سيئ جدًا”، مؤكدًا أن الفرصة الذهبية يجب أن تُستغل لتدمير القوة العسكرية لحزب الله بشكل نهائي. وأوضح قائلاً: “اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار سيء، ويجب أن نصل إلى مرحلة لا يكون فيها حزب الله موجودًا. يجب القضاء نهائيًا على حزب الله.”
وكان رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير الدفاع يسرائيل كاتس قد أمروا الجيش الإسرائيلي بتنفيذ سلسلة من الضربات العسكرية ضد عشرات الأهداف التابعة لحزب الله في لبنان، وفقًا لما أعلنه وزارة الدفاع الإسرائيلية.
وأضافت الحكومة الإسرائيلية أن هذه الضربات تأتي “ردًا على إطلاق الصواريخ باتجاه إسرائيل”، وهي استمرار للموجة الأولى من الضربات التي نفذها الجيش الإسرائيلي يوم السبت الماضي، والتي استهدفت جنوب لبنان.
كما أعلنت الجيش الإسرائيلي عن اعتراضه ثلاثة صواريخ فوق مستوطنة المطلة شمال إسرائيل يوم أمس السبت، ولم تُسجل أي إصابات في هذا الهجوم.
من جهته، نفى حزب الله أي علاقة له بإطلاق الصواريخ من جنوب لبنان باتجاه إسرائيل. وقال الحزب في بيان له إن ما وصفها بـ “ادعاءات” إسرائيل بشأن إطلاق الصواريخ تأتي في إطار الذرائع لاستمرار اعتداءات إسرائيل على لبنان، مؤكدًا التزامه بـ “اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار”، وأنه يقف خلف الدولة اللبنانية في معالجة هذا التصعيد.
حتى الآن، لم تعلن أي جهة عن مسؤوليتها عن إطلاق الصواريخ، في الوقت الذي حذر فيه رئيس الوزراء اللبناني نواف سلام من محاولة جر لبنان إلى حرب جديدة.

According to the Israeli news site “Maariv”, the head of the Metulla settlement council stated that the ceasefire agreement is “very bad,” stressing the need to completely destroy Hezbollah's military power, describing it as the “golden opportunity.” He added, “The ceasefire agreement is bad, and we need to reach a point where Hezbollah is no longer present. We must completely eliminate Hezbollah.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz had ordered the Israeli military to carry out a series of strikes against dozens of Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon, according to a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
The Israeli government explained that these strikes were a response to rocket fire toward Israel and part of the continuation of the first wave of strikes that took place on Saturday, targeting southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army also announced that it had intercepted three rockets over the Metulla settlement in northern Israel on Saturday, with no casualties reported from the attack.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah denied any involvement in the rocket fire from southern Lebanon toward Israel. The group said in a statement that Israel's allegations about the rocket launch are part of a series of pretexts to continue its attacks on Lebanon, affirming its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and its support for the Lebanese state in handling this escalation.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the rocket launch, while Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has warned against dragging Lebanon into a new war.
