“الجيش السوري يخطط لضبط الحدود مع لبنان بعد تصاعد الاشتباكات”

وأكد زيواني أيضًا في حديثه أن هناك تنسيقًا مع الجيش اللبناني، حيث تم وضع آلية لضبط الحدود والتصدي لأي اختراقات مستقبلية. في هذا السياق، أفاد مراسل “العربية” أن الجيش السوري دمر مستودع ذخيرة لحزب الله داخل الأراضي اللبنانية جراء قصف مدفعي، بعد وصول تعزيزات عسكرية إلى مواقعه على الحدود.
خلال هذه المواجهات التي دارت بالقرب من بلدة القصر، تعرض طاقم “العربية” لقذيفة كورنيت أُطلقت من لبنان، ما أسفر عن إصابة مصور “العربية”، رستم صلاح، بجروح طفيفة، بالإضافة إلى إصابة عدد آخر من الصحافيين في الموقع. كما أسفرت الاشتباكات عن مقتل جندي سوري وإصابة آخرين.
وفي وقت سابق، أكدت وزارة الدفاع السورية أنها ستتخذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة على الحدود السورية اللبنانية بعد التصعيد الخطير من قبل حزب الله. كما تم الإشارة إلى توتر كبير على الحدود مع توجه حشود عسكرية سورية إلى المنطقة، حيث أكدت الوزارة أن حزب الله دخل الحدود السورية وقتل ثلاثة مقاتلين سوريين قبل سحب جثثهم إلى الأراضي اللبنانية.
“Syrian Army Plans to Secure the Lebanon Border Following Escalating Clashes”
On Sunday evening, tensions escalated along the Syria-Lebanon border as Syrian army forces clashed with members of Hezbollah. According to a correspondent from “Al Arabiya”, the death toll of Syrian soldiers has risen to six, while the Lebanese side reported the martyrdom of two individuals.
Maher Zywani, the military operations commander along the Syria-Lebanon border, spoke to “Al Arabiya”, saying: “A Hezbollah group breached the border and killed several Syrian soldiers”. Zywani also mentioned that they received the bodies of the slain soldiers from the Lebanese army and then deployed military reinforcements to secure the border, aiming to assert control over strategic border points and prevent any infiltration by Hezbollah.
Zywani further emphasized that there is coordination with the Lebanese army, and a mechanism has been established to prevent future border violations. Additionally, Al Arabiya reported that the Syrian army destroyed a Hezbollah ammunition depot inside Lebanese territory with artillery shelling, after receiving military reinforcements at their positions along the border.
During these clashes near the town of Al-Qasr, Al Arabiya's crew was struck by a Cornet missile launched from Lebanon, injuring Al Arabiya’s photographer, Rustom Salah, with minor injuries, and several other journalists at the scene were also wounded. The fighting also resulted in the death of one Syrian soldier and the injury of others.
Earlier, the Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed it would take all necessary measures along the Syria-Lebanon border following a serious escalation by Hezbollah. This came after significant tension along the border, with Syrian military reinforcements heading toward the region. The ministry also reported that Hezbollah had crossed into Syrian territory, killed three Syrian fighters, and moved their bodies into Lebanon.
