“النائب جميل السيّد يتحدث عن نوايا إشعال الحدود: دعوات للتنسيق بين لبنان وسوريا”
كتب النائب جميل السيّد عبر حسابه على “اكس” حول التوترات المتزايدة على الحدود اللبنانية السورية، حيث أشار إلى تطورات أمنية خطيرة في المنطقة بعد الاشتباكات المتكررة على تلك الحدود. وقال السيّد: “ماذا يجري على حدود الهرمل مع سوريا؟! منذ التطورات الأخيرة في دمشق، وحتى الاشتباكات المتكررة على تلك الحدود، وآخرها أمس”.
وصرّح السيّد أن الوضع الأمني يتطلب اتخاذ تدابير عاجلة من الدولة اللبنانية لحماية الأمن على الحدود، قائلاً: “استصرخنا الدولة لإتخاذ تدابير تمنع المفاجآت الأمنية، ومن بينها استحداث آلية ارتباط وتنسيق مع سوريا يكون لها تواجد مشترك على الأرض على طرفي الحدود في القاع والهرمل وعكار، لمعالجة أي مشكلة فور بروزها”.
وأضاف السيّد قائلاً: “اليوم مجدداً نقول إن هناك نوايا سيئة لإشعال الحدود وإرباك الوضع، في الوقت الذي تسرح فيه إسرائيل وتمرح في جنوب لبنان وجنوب دمشق”. وأكد أن التوتر على الحدود يجعل المواطنين في المنطقة يشعرون بالقلق، مما يدفعهم إلى حمل السلاح لحماية أنفسهم، وهو ما يشكل مصدرًا محتملاً للحوادث.
وأكمل السيّد حديثه قائلاً: “أجزم أن حالة القلق على طرفي الحدود تجبر الناس على حمل سلاحها، وهذا بحد ذاته مصدر للحوادث، إلا إذا حصلت الطمأنة المتبادلة من الجهتين، أي أن تتولى القوى النظامية كامل المسؤولية وفقًا لآلية التنسيق المباشر فيما بينها”.
وتصاعدت التوترات على الحدود اللبنانية السورية عقب اتهام وزارة الدفاع السورية لحزب الله باختطاف ثلاثة جنود سوريين وتصفيتهم داخل الأراضي اللبنانية. وقالت الوزارة السورية إن الجنود الثلاثة تعرضوا لكمين قرب سد زيتا وتم اختطافهم واقتيادهم إلى لبنان قبل تصفيتهم.
من جانبه، نفى حزب الله في بيان رسمي أي علاقة له بالأحداث الجارية على الحدود، مؤكداً أنه “لا علاقة له بأي تطورات ميدانية داخل الأراضي السورية”.
إن حالة التوتر الحالية تتطلب التنسيق الأمني بين لبنان وسوريا لحل أي أزمات ميدانية قد تطرأ وضمان استقرار المنطقة، في وقت تشهد فيه الحدود تهديدات من جهات خارجية.

“MP Jamil Sayyed Talks About Intentions to Ignite the Borders: Calls for Lebanon-Syria Coordination”
MP Jamil Sayyed discussed the growing tensions on the Lebanese-Syrian border, pointing to frequent clashes and significant security developments after recent incidents in Syria. Sayyed wrote on his Twitter account: “What is happening at the Hermel border with Syria? Since the recent developments in Damascus, and the repeated clashes at the border, the latest being yesterday.”
He emphasized the urgent need for Lebanon to take serious measures to avoid security surprises, saying, “We urged the state to take measures to prevent security surprises, including establishing a coordination mechanism with Syria, with joint presence on both sides of the border in the areas of Qaa, Hermel, and Akkar, to address any problems immediately.”
Sayyed further added, “Today, we again say that there are malicious intentions to ignite the borders and confuse the situation, at a time when Israel is acting freely in southern Lebanon and southern Damascus.” He stressed that the security concerns on both sides of the border are driving people to arm themselves, which could lead to potential incidents.
He continued, “I am certain that the anxiety on both sides of the border forces people to carry arms, which in itself is a source of incidents, unless mutual reassurance takes place, meaning that the regular forces take full responsibility through direct coordination mechanisms between the two sides.”
Tensions on the Lebanese-Syrian border have risen after Syria's Ministry of Defense accused Hezbollah of abducting and killing three Syrian soldiers within Lebanese territory. The ministry stated that the soldiers were ambushed near the Zaita Dam and were abducted by Hezbollah before being executed.
Hezbollah, in an official statement, denied any involvement in the ongoing events along the border, asserting that it had “no connection to any military developments inside Syrian territories.”
The current state of tension necessitates security coordination between Lebanon and Syria to resolve any emerging crises and ensure regional stability, especially as external threats loom over the borders.
