في بيانٍ رسمي صادر عن قيادة الجيش – مديرية التوجيه، أفادت قيادة الجيش في يوم الأحد 8 آذار 2025، عن عملية دهم نفذتها دورية من مديرية المخابرات استهدفت أحد المحلات في منطقة الليلكي – الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت. حيث تم توقيف المواطن (م.ن.) على خلفية تأليفه عصابة مسلحة لفرض الخوات، بالإضافة إلى ارتكابه عدد من الجرائم الجسيمة، أبرزها إطلاق النار وإصابة أشخاص، والخطف بالقوة، والسرقة، وتجارة الأسلحة الحربية والذخائر، فضلًا عن افتعال الإشكالات ومحاولة القتل.
خلال عملية الدهم، تم العثور داخل المحل على كمية كبيرة من الذخائر التي كانت بحوزة المشتبه به، مما يؤكد تورطه في قضايا أمنية خطيرة.
وفي سياق آخر، وفي إطار تنفيذ مهام الأمن الوطني، قامت قوة من الجيش اللبناني بمداهمة منازل مطلوبين في منطقة وادي خالد – عكار، حيث تم توقيف المواطنين (أ.ف.) و(م.ف.)، بالإضافة إلى ضبط سلاح حربي من نوع كلاشنيكوف، ومسدان، وكمية من الذخائر والأعتدة العسكرية.
وقد تم تسليم جميع المضبوطات للجهات المعنية، وباشرت التحقيقات مع الموقوفين بإشراف القضاء المختص في إطار التأكد من ملابسات القضايا الأمنية ذات الصلة.

Lebanese Army Arrests 3 Citizens in Lailaki and Wadi Khaled for Multiple Crimes
A statement issued by the Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation on Sunday, March 8, 2025, revealed that a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate conducted a raid on a shop owned by (M.N.) in the Lailaki area – Southern Suburb of Beirut. The raid led to the arrest of (M.N.) on charges of forming an armed gang to extort money (known as “khowat”). He is also facing several serious criminal charges, including shooting and injuring people, kidnapping by force, theft, illegal arms trade, as well as instigating conflicts and attempted murder.
During the raid, a large quantity of ammunition was found inside the shop, confirming the involvement of the suspect in serious security matters.
In a separate development, the Lebanese Army's forces raided the homes of wanted individuals in Wadi Khaled – Akkar, where they arrested (A.F.) and (M.F.). During this operation, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, two pistols, and a quantity of ammunition and military gear were confiscated.
The seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities, and investigations have been initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
