About the Role
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is looking for a Senior Associate to join the Knowledge and Learning Division, working within the Felipe Herrera Library team. In this position, you will apply your expertise in taxonomy design, data architecture, and linked data strategies to enhance the discoverability of knowledge products and contribute to the impact of IDB's knowledge graph.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with knowledge graph and institutional repository teams to improve metadata workflows, lead initiatives for semantic enrichment, and support enhancements to the knowledge graph.
- Design and implement strategies for improving discoverability through advanced search platforms.
- Utilize modern technologies, such as Neo4j and Stardog, to manage linked data and knowledge graph development.
- Apply quality assurance methods to evaluate taxonomy structures, addressing inconsistencies and optimizing workflows.
- Maintain and develop knowledge management systems to enhance access to IDB’s knowledge products.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Library & Information Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and managing taxonomies, ontologies, and controlled vocabularies in a digital or research environment.
- Strong familiarity with tools such as “PoolParty”, Neo4j, and RDF.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish. Knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus.

المهام الرئيسية

- تطبيق استراتيجيات تقييم تصنيف المعرفة لضمان الجودة، والتأكد من تحسين تدفقات البيانات.
المتطلبات
- درجة الماجستير في إدارة المعلومات أو المجالات ذات الصلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في تصميم وتصنيف المعرفة.
- مهارات استخدام أدوات إدارة البيانات مثل “PoolParty” و “Neo4j”.
- إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية والإسبانية.
