أعلنت مؤسسة “كهرباء لبنان” في بيان لها اليوم أنه تم معالجة الإشكالية المتعلقة بتغذية التيار الكهربائي، وذلك بعد الاتفاق الذي تم مع الجانب العراقي فيما يخص اتفاقية مبادلة زيت الوقود الثقيل. وفقًا للاتفاق، أعطى الجانب العراقي الموافقة على تحميل مورد المحروقات اللازمة من مرفأ التحميل في العراق، مقابل تفريغ شحنة الغاز أويل المخصصة لشهر كانون الثاني 2025 لصالح مؤسسة كهرباء لبنان عبر وزارة الطاقة والمياه. وكان هذا التوزيع قد تأخر نتيجة الإشكالية التي نشأت، حيث كانت الشحنة عالقة منذ 17 شباط 2025 قبالة مصب معمل دير عمار.

كما أكدت المؤسسة أن الإجراءات والتدابير الاحترازية التي تم اتخاذها خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين، والتي كانت تهدف إلى تجنب العتمة الشاملة، قد بدأت في التخفيف تدريجيًا. وعلى الرغم من تلك الإجراءات، فقد نفذ خزين معمل الزهراني بالكامل، بينما بقي في خزين معمل دير عمار ما يكفي لتشغيله لمدة 10 ساعات فقط. في ظل هذه الظروف، أُعيدت التغذية بالتيار الكهربائي تدريجيًا ابتداءً من صباح يوم أمس، 26 شباط 2025، ليصل مستوى التغذية إلى 6-8 ساعات يوميًا في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية.

وأضاف البيان أن مؤسسة كهرباء لبنان تؤكد على أن القرارات المتعلقة بتغذية التيار الكهربائي لا تُتخذ استنادًا فقط إلى توفر المحروقات، بل بناءً على عدد من العوامل الفنية مثل جاهزية محطات توليد الطاقة، مواعيد الصيانات الدورية للمجموعات الإنتاجية، وتوافر المحروقات بشكل مستمر لمدة ثلاثة أشهر مقبلة، بالإضافة إلى الوضع المالي العام للمؤسسة في الفترة القادمة. كما أوضحت أن مستوى الجباية في المناطق المختلفة، التي تأثرت بسبب العدوان الإسرائيلي، يعد أيضًا من العوامل المهمة التي تؤخذ في الحسبان.

من جهة أخرى، شكرت المؤسسة جميع الجهات المعنية التي ساهمت في حل هذه المشكلة مع الجانب العراقي، وأعربت عن أملها في أن يتم معالجة المسألة بصورة نهائية لضمان تزويد المؤسسة بالمحروقات بشكل مستمر، لتلبية احتياجات معامل إنتاج الطاقة الكهربائية في لبنان. وأكدت المؤسسة أنها ستبقي المواطنين على اطلاع بأي مستجدات تتعلق بتغذية التيار الكهربائي من خلال بيانات لاحقة.

Improvement in Electricity Supply Starting from This Date!

Electricité du Liban announced today that the issue concerning electricity supply has been resolved following an agreement made with the Iraqi side regarding the heavy fuel oil exchange agreement. According to the agreement, Iraq approved the loading of the necessary fuel supplies from the loading port in Iraq in exchange for the unloading of the gas oil shipment designated for January 2025 for Electricité du Liban, through the Ministry of Energy and Water. This shipment had been delayed due to an issue that arose, with the shipment being stuck since February 17, 2025, off the shore of Deir Ammar power plant.

The company also confirmed that the precautionary measures taken over the past two weeks, aimed at avoiding a total blackout, have been gradually eased. Despite these measures, the Zahrani power plant’s fuel reserve was depleted, and the Deir Ammar power plant had enough fuel to operate for only about 10 hours. As a result, electricity supply was gradually restored starting on the morning of February 26, 2025, with the supply reaching 6-8 hours daily across Lebanon.

The statement further clarified that decisions regarding electricity supply are not based solely on the availability of fuel but depend on various technical factors such as the readiness of power plants, the scheduled maintenance of production units, and continuous fuel supply for at least the next three months. Additionally, the company's financial situation and the expected revenue from billing in various regions, especially those affected by the Israeli aggression, are crucial factors that influence decisions.

The company expressed gratitude to all concerned parties that helped resolve this issue with the Iraqi side and hopes that the matter will be resolved definitively to ensure continuous fuel supply, meeting the needs of electricity production plants in Lebanon. It also confirmed that it would keep citizens informed of any updates regarding electricity supply through future statements.
