رفضت إسرائيل الانسحاب من خمسة مواقع في جنوب لبنان، حيث أكدت أن هذه المواقع “ضرورية لأمنها”، وهو ما قوبل برد فرنسي قوي.
الموقف الفرنسي:
طالبت وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية يوم الثلاثاء إسرائيل بالانسحاب الكامل من لبنان، مشددة على رفضها لاستمرار وجود الجيش الإسرائيلي في هذه المواقع الخمسة. وأكدت باريس في بيان رسمي أن إسرائيل يجب أن تلتزم بالاتفاق الذي تم التوصل إليه في 26 نوفمبر 2024 لوقف الأعمال العدائية بين لبنان وإسرائيل، والذي يقتضي انسحابها الكامل من الأراضي اللبنانية.
وقالت الوزارة إن إسرائيل حافظت على وجودها في خمسة مواقع على طول الحدود اللبنانية، وأكدت على ضرورة الانسحاب من هذه المناطق في أقرب وقت ممكن وفقًا لأحكام اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
أهمية المواقع الإسرائيلية:
أما بالنسبة لأهمية هذه المواقع، فقد رجحت مصادر “العربية/الحدث” أن إسرائيل تعتبر بقاءها في هذه المواقع بمثابة رسالة إلى الداخل الإسرائيلي، حيث تواجه مستوطنات إسرائيلية في الشمال التي نزح سكانها بسبب صواريخ حزب الله خلال الحرب على غزة. وتتمتع هذه المواقع بأهمية استراتيجية، إذ تمثل نقاطًا مرتفعة تطل على العمق اللبناني، مما يمنح إسرائيل قدرة على مراقبة المنطقة بشكل أفضل، خاصة مع عدم قدرتها على استخدام الطائرات المسيرة بعد الانسحاب.
من بين المواقع التي ستظل تحت سيطرة الجيش الإسرائيلي، هناك منطقة اللبونة المقابلة لمستوطنة شلومي، وهي منطقة مرتفعة تطل على المناطق اللبنانية الداخلية. بالإضافة إلى مواقع أخرى في جبل بلاط، جبل الديب، جبل الدير، وأصبع الجليل الحمامص، التي تطل على مستوطنات إسرائيلية مثل زرعيت وأفيفيم وكريات شمونة.
تمديد مهلة الانسحاب:

The ministry further stated that Israel maintained its presence in five locations along the Lebanese border, stressing the need for a full withdrawal from these areas as soon as possible in accordance with the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
Importance of Israeli Sites:
Regarding the importance of these sites, sources from “Al Arabiya/Al Hadath” suggest that Israel views its continued presence at these sites as a message to its domestic audience, especially in light of settlements in the north, which were abandoned by residents due to Hezbollah rockets during the Gaza war. These sites hold strategic value as elevated points overlooking the Lebanese interior, which is crucial for monitoring the region, particularly since Israel cannot use drones after its withdrawal.
Among the sites that will remain under Israeli control is the Labouna area, facing the Shlomi settlement, which is an elevated area overlooking Lebanese inland regions. Other sites include Mount Blat, Mount Deb, Mount Deir, and the Finger of Galilee Hammams, which overlook Israeli settlements like Zar'it, Avivim, and Kiryat Shmona.
Extension of Withdrawal Deadline:
The Israeli army was expected to complete its withdrawal from these sites by February 18, as per the deadline set in the agreement with Lebanon.
