وفي المقابل، أكدت الطالبة نور حايك، التي تدرس في السنة الثانية لإدارة الأعمال في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت، أنها متخوفة من إيقاف المنحة، رغم أنها لا تزال سارية في هذا الفصل الدراسي. كما أشارت إلى أنها لم تتلقَ جوابًا واضحًا من إدارة الجامعة حول هذا الموضوع.
