Arshmendrite Anania Koghanian Found Dead in Baysalim: Details of the Incident
The body of Arshmendrite Anania Koghanian, Deputy Bishop of the Armenian Orthodox Church in Lebanon and the official responsible for managing the affairs of the Armenian community in Zahle and Anjar, was found at his residence in Baysalim. It was later determined that Koghanian was murdered in what appears to have been a robbery, although full details have not yet been uncovered.
