تفاصيل نفي الإشاعات
صرّح المقدم مصطفى كنيفاتي، مدير الأمن في محافظة اللاذقية، لوكالة الأنباء السورية قائلاً: “انتشرت عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي معلومات كاذبة تدّعي انسحاب قوات الأمن العام من عدة مواقع في محافظة اللاذقية. وقد استغل هذه الإشاعات بعض الخارجين عن القانون لمحاولة تنفيذ هجمات إجرامية على مواقع تابعة لوزارة الداخلية”.
وأضاف كنيفاتي: “تم إحباط المحاولات الإجرامية، وأسفرت العمليات عن تحييد ثلاثة من المهاجمين، مع استمرار ملاحقة الفارّين”.
كيف بدأت الشائعة؟
خلال الساعات الماضية، نشرت حسابات على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في سوريا أنباء تدّعي انسحاب الفصائل العسكرية التابعة للإدارة السورية الجديدة من مدينتي اللاذقية وطرطوس، مع الحديث عن تحرك الطيران الروسي وعودة ماهر الأسد، شقيق الرئيس المخلوع بشار الأسد، إلى الساحل السوري.
وكشفت منصة “تأكد”، المتخصصة في التحقق من الأخبار، أن شاباً سورياً يُدعى نور حلبي كان أول من أطلق هذه الشائعة. في البداية، نشر حلبي منشوراً يدّعي فيه وجود تحركات روسية وعودة ماهر الأسد، ثم تراجع بعد ثلاث دقائق فقط، موضحاً أن المنشور كان مجرد مزحة.
أثر الشائعة على الشارع السوري
رغم التراجع السريع عن المنشور، كانت الدقائق الثلاث كافية لانتشار الشائعة بشكل واسع، مما أثار حالة من القلق والفوضى بين المواطنين. تزامن ذلك مع تصاعد كم هائل من المعلومات المضللة عبر المنصات الرقمية، مما زاد من حالة التوتر وعدم الاستقرار.
توضيح وزارة الدفاع
في سياق متصل، صرّح القائد العسكري في وزارة الدفاع، ساجد الله الديك، لتلفزيون “سوريا” يوم الجمعة: “ننفي تماماً الأخبار التي تتحدث عن انسحاب إدارة العمليات العسكرية من مدينة جبلة. عناصرنا لا تزال متواجدة في مواقعها وثكناتها العسكرية”.
وأضاف: “هذه الإشاعات تهدف إلى إضعاف الروح المعنوية للشعب السوري وسلب فرحة النصر. نؤكد أننا ملتزمون بحماية الشعب وأمنه، ونهيب بالجميع عدم الانجرار وراء الشائعات”.

Dismissing the Rumors
Speaking to the Syrian News Agency, Mustafa Knifati, Director of Security in Latakia, stated: “False information has been circulating on social media, claiming that public security forces withdrew from several sites in Latakia. These rumors were exploited by lawbreakers to carry out criminal attacks on Ministry of Interior locations.”
Knifati added: “The criminal attempts were thwarted, resulting in the neutralization of three attackers, while efforts to apprehend the fugitives are ongoing.”
How Did the Rumor Start?
In recent hours, social media accounts in Syria spread rumors alleging that military factions under the new Syrian administration withdrew from Latakia and Tartus. The posts also claimed Russian air movements and the return of Maher Al-Assad, the brother of ousted President Bashar Al-Assad, to the Syrian coast.
Fact-checking platform “Taqd” revealed that a young Syrian named Nour Halabi was the first to spark this rumor. Initially, Halabi posted claims about Russian activity and Maher Al-Assad’s return but retracted his statement three minutes later, saying it was a joke.
The Rumor’s Impact on Syrian Society
Despite the quick retraction, the three-minute window was enough for the rumor to spread widely, triggering panic and unrest among citizens. This coincided with an avalanche of misinformation across digital platforms, further exacerbating public anxiety.
Statement from the Ministry of Defense
In response, Major General Sajid Allah Al-Deek from the Ministry of Defense told Syria TV on Friday: “We categorically deny reports about the withdrawal of military operations forces from Jableh city. Our personnel remain deployed at their stations and military barracks.”
He added: “These rumors aim to weaken the Syrian people’s morale and undermine the joy of victory. We reassure the public that we remain steadfast in protecting our people and maintaining security, and we urge everyone not to fall prey to misinformation.”
