كشفت صحيفة “هآرتس” الإسرائيلية، اليوم الخميس، نقلاً عن مصادر مطّلعة، أن إسرائيل طلبت من واشنطن تمديد مهلة انسحاب قواتها من جنوب لبنان لمدة 30 يوماً إضافياً.

وفي هذا السياق، صرّح السفير الإسرائيلي لدى واشنطن، مايكل هيرتسوج، بأن “تل أبيب تُجري مباحثات مع واشنطن بشأن ترتيبات انسحاب القوات الإسرائيلية من جنوب لبنان، مع اقتراب انتهاء المهلة المحددة لوقف إطلاق النار مع حزب الله”. وأضاف هيرتسوج: “نسعى للتوصل إلى تفاهمات واضحة مع إدارة ترامب لتنسيق الانسحاب العسكري”.

أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي أن قوات اللواء السابع بقيادة الفرقة 91 تواصل أنشطتها في جنوب لبنان لضمان أمن إسرائيل، مشيراً إلى أن جميع العمليات تتم وفقاً للتفاهمات الموقعة بين لبنان وإسرائيل، مع الالتزام بشروط وقف إطلاق النار.

كشفت مصادر مطلعة أن نتنياهو طلب من إدارة الرئيس الأميركي، دونالد ترامب، الموافقة على خطة تسمح ببقاء 5 مواقع عسكرية إسرائيلية في جنوب لبنان. وأفادت شبكة “سي إن إن” الأميركية بأن هذا الطلب يتعارض مع الموعد النهائي المحدد لسحب القوات الإسرائيلية، والذي تم الاتفاق عليه لمدة 60 يوماً في تشرين الثاني 2024 بعد عام من الصراع العنيف.

The Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” reported today, Thursday, citing informed sources, that Israel has requested Washington to extend the deadline for withdrawing its forces from South Lebanon by an additional 30 days.

In this regard, Israeli Ambassador to Washington Michael Herzog stated that “Tel Aviv is in talks with Washington regarding arrangements for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from South Lebanon as the ceasefire deadline with Hezbollah approaches.” He added: “We are working towards clear understandings with the Trump administration to coordinate the military withdrawal.”

The Israeli Army announced that forces from the 7th Brigade, led by the 91st Division, are continuing their activities in South Lebanon to ensure Israel's security.
