أعلنت مديرية الأمن العام في طرطوس، اليوم الجمعة، عن إحباط محاولة تهريب أسلحة وصواريخ كانت في طريقها إلى الأراضي اللبنانية عبر معابر غير شرعية. وتم تنفيذ العملية بالتنسيق مع جهاز الاستخبارات في المحافظة بعد متابعة دقيقة ورصد مستمر.
تفاصيل العملية الأمنية في طرطوس
في بيان رسمي صدر عن مديرية الأمن العام بطرطوس، أوضحت المديرية أنه تم مصادرة الأسلحة والصواريخ أثناء محاولتها العبور إلى لبنان عبر طرق تهريب غير شرعية. وأشارت إلى أن التنسيق بين جهاز الاستخبارات والأجهزة الأمنية المحلية لعب دوراً محورياً في إحباط العملية ومنع دخول الأسلحة إلى لبنان.
اعتقال المحرك الأساسي لعمليات التهريب قبل أسابيع
من جهة أخرى، قبل نحو ثلاثة أسابيع، أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي في لبنان عن توقيف (م.ح.)، وهو المتهم الرئيسي بتنظيم عمليات تهريب الأسلحة بين سوريا ولبنان.
وجاء في البلاغ الصادر عن الأمن الداخلي أن توقيف المتهم جاء بعد رصد دقيق استمر لأشهر، حيث تمكنت دورية من مديرية عكار الإقليمية في أمن الدولة – مكتب القبيات من توقيفه صباح يوم الجمعة الموافق 27 كانون الأول 2024.
وخلال مداهمة منزل المتهم، عثرت القوى الأمنية على 25 بندقية كلاشينكوف وبندقية PKS، بالإضافة إلى كميات من الذخائر المتنوعة. وتمت مصادرة المضبوطات، فيما يجري التحقيق مع المتهم تحت إشراف القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
تحديات أمنية على الحدود الشمالية
تواجه الحدود الشمالية للبنان تحديات أمنية خطيرة تتعلق بعمليات التهريب، حيث تستغل بعض الجماعات الطرق غير الشرعية لنقل الأسلحة بين البلدين. وتأتي هذه العمليات في وقت حساس تمر فيه المنطقة بظروف أمنية وسياسية دقيقة، مما يتطلب المزيد من التعاون بين الأجهزة الأمنية في البلدين لضبط الأمن على الحدود.

The General Security Directorate in Tartous, Syria, announced today, Friday, that a major weapons and missile smuggling attempt to Lebanon through illegal border crossings was successfully thwarted. The operation was carried out in coordination with the intelligence apparatus of the province after meticulous monitoring and tracking.

In an official statement, the Tartous General Security Directorate revealed that weapons and missiles were confiscated during their attempted smuggling into Lebanon via illegal routes. The operation was made possible thanks to close coordination between local security forces and intelligence units.
Key Smuggling Organizer Arrested Weeks Ago
In a related development, Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces announced three weeks ago the arrest of (M.H.), a primary suspect in organizing weapons smuggling operations between Syria and Lebanon.
According to the official statement, the suspect was apprehended on the morning of Friday, December 27, 2024, by a patrol from the Akkar Regional Directorate of State Security – Qobayat Office.
A raid on the suspect's house uncovered 25 Kalashnikov rifles, a PKS rifle, and a quantity of ammunition, all of which were confiscated. The suspect is currently under investigation under the supervision of the competent judiciary to determine further details and accountability.
