في هذا السياق، أكد أحد التجار في طرابلس لموقع “ليبانون ديبايت” أن الحركة النشطة التي تشهدها الأسواق المحلية تعود بشكل أساسي إلى ارتفاع الطلب على السلع والخدمات. ومع تزايد أعداد النازحين، زادت أيضًا استهلاكات المواد الغذائية والسلع الأساسية، مما أسهم في تعزيز مبيعات التجار وأصحاب المتاجر. ولتلبية الاحتياجات المتزايدة، بدأت المحلات التجارية تتكيف عبر توفير منتجات متنوعة بأسعار تنافسية.
كما أشار التاجر إلى أن القطاع الغذائي يُعتبر من بين أكثر القطاعات استفادة من حركة النزوح، حيث تتطلب زيادة عدد النازحين توفير كميات كبيرة من المواد الغذائية. وقد أسفر ذلك عن ازدهار تجارة المواد الغذائية، بما في ذلك الفواكه والخضروات والحبوب، كما تم إنشاء نقاط بيع جديدة لتلبية احتياجات الأسر النازحة.
