“حل دبلوماسي”… تفاصيل اللقاء بين ميقاتي وبلينكن
أكد وزير الخارجية الأميركي، أنتوني بلينكن، اليوم الجمعة، على أهمية تنفيذ القرار 1701 لضمان الأمن والاستقرار على الحدود بين إسرائيل ولبنان. جاء هذا التصريح خلال اجتماعه مع رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية، نجيب ميقاتي، حيث شدد على أن الحل الدبلوماسي هو السبيل الأفضل للخروج من الأزمة الحالية.
بلينكن أشار إلى ضرورة إعادة الاستقرار للمنطقة لتأمين عودة المدنيين إلى منازلهم بأمان، مشددًا على أهمية استعادة الهدوء لضمان سلامة السكان على طول الحدود.
من جهته، أكد ميقاتي أن “لبنان يلتزم بتنفيذ القرار 1701 بالكامل ودون أي تعديل”، مشيرًا إلى أن وقف إطلاق النار هو الأولوية القصوى في هذه المرحلة. كما أدان ميقاتي “الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية التي أدت إلى نزوح أكثر من مليون و400 ألف لبناني”، مؤكدًا أن “إسرائيل تنتهك القانون الدولي عبر استهداف المدنيين، الصحافيين، والطاقم الطبي”.
في سياق موازٍ، وجّه ميقاتي نداءً إلى المجتمع الدولي وأصدقاء لبنان لبذل الجهود من أجل وقف إطلاق النار والعمل على استقرار دائم وفقًا للقانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن، خاصة القرار 1701.
في مؤتمر صحفي عقب مؤتمر باريس لدعم لبنان، قال ميقاتي: “لقد وجدنا تضامنًا كاملًا مع لبنان خلال هذا المؤتمر، وأُعيد التأكيد على أن القرار 1701 يجب أن يُنفّذ دون تأخير”. كما أعلن عن استعداد لبنان لتعزيز وجود الجيش في الجنوب، مشيرًا إلى أن مؤتمرًا خاصًا لدعم الجيش والقوى الأمنية سيُعقد قريبًا.
وختم ميقاتي حديثه بالإعراب عن ثقته في عدم ترك لبنان وحده، مؤكداً أن “لبنان لديه أصدقاء وأشقاء قادرون على تقديم الدعم في هذه الأوقات الصعبة”. ولفت إلى أن “الحل يبدأ بتطبيق القرار 1701 بشكل كامل، مع وقف إطلاق النار وإنهاء الحرب والدمار”.

“Diplomatic Solution”: Insights from the Meeting between Mikati and Blinken
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized today, Friday, that the implementation of UN Resolution 1701 is essential for ensuring true security along the Israel-Lebanon border. In his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Blinken reiterated the importance of finding a diplomatic solution to the ongoing crisis.
Blinken highlighted the need for restoring stability in the region to ensure that civilians along the border can return to their homes safely, emphasizing the urgency of ensuring their safety and stability.
For his part, Mikati reaffirmed Lebanon’s commitment to fully implementing Resolution 1701, without any modifications. He stressed that an immediate ceasefire is the top priority, condemning “Israeli aggression, which has displaced more than 1.4 million Lebanese,” and accusing Israel of violating international law by targeting civilians, journalists, and medical staff.
Mikati called on the international community and Lebanon’s allies to exert efforts to achieve a ceasefire and work towards lasting stability based on international law and UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 1701.
Speaking at a press conference following the Paris Conference for supporting Lebanon, Mikati said: “We witnessed full solidarity with Lebanon during this conference, and all statements reaffirmed that Resolution 1701 must be implemented without delay.” He also announced Lebanon’s readiness to enhance the army’s presence in the south and noted that a special conference to support the army and security forces will be held soon.
Mikati concluded by expressing his confidence that Lebanon is not abandoned, stating, “Lebanon has friends and brothers who can be relied upon in these difficult times.” He added that the solution begins with fully implementing Resolution 1701, achieving a ceasefire, and ending the ongoing war and bloodshed.
