العريضي يحذّر: “إسرائيل تخطط لشن عدوان واسع” والأيام القادمة تحمل تطورات خطيرة
حذّر الكاتب والمحلل السياسي وجدي العريضي في حديث خاص لـ”ليبانون ديبايت” من تصعيد كبير متوقع من قبل إسرائيل خلال الأيام المقبلة، مشيرًا إلى أن مسؤول العلاقات الإعلامية في حزب الله، الحاج محمد عفيف، وضع خطة للحزب لمواصلة عملياته بعد استشهاد أمينه العام السيد حسن نصر الله وعدد من كبار قادته. وأوضح العريضي أن حزب الله استعاد قدراته القيادية والميدانية على كافة الأصعدة، لكن التساؤل يبقى حول ما إذا كانت الحرب ستطول، وما الذي قد يحدث في الفترة المقبلة؟
وأكد العريضي أن “المعطيات الراهنة تشير إلى دعم أميركي غير محدود لإسرائيل، مما يزيد من احتمالية تصعيد عسكري واسع النطاق، وخاصةً من الجولان والحدود الشمالية، بهدف إنشاء منطقة عازلة خلال الأيام القليلة المقبلة”.
وأشار إلى أن الحديث عن تهدئة أو وقف إطلاق نار هو “مجرد وهم” ولن يحدث أي حل قبل الانتخابات الرئاسية الأميركية. وبيّن أن المعادلة قد تغيرت لتصبح “حيفا مقابل بيروت”، مع احتمال استهداف مواقع جديدة ومنشآت حيوية.
وتابع العريضي مشددًا على أن “إسرائيل تتجه نحو تدمير البنية التحتية لحزب الله، لكنها تواجه تحديات كبيرة نظرًا للخسائر الميدانية التي تتكبدها”. وحذّر من وقوع “فتنة داخلية” في حال لم يتم التعامل بحكمة مع التطورات، داعيًا إلى الاستفادة من دروس التاريخ.
وفيما يتعلق بملف النازحين السوريين، أوضح العريضي أن الملف يتم التعامل معه بجدية تحت إشراف اللواء إلياس البيسري، مشيرًا إلى أن الجهود الوطنية تتكامل من قبل العديد من الجهات، بما في ذلك رئيس مجلس الجنوب هاشم حيدر الذي يعمل بشكل مستمر على هذا الملف بتوجيهات من الرئيس نبيه بري.
على صعيد آخر، لفت العريضي إلى أن وزير الاقتصاد أمين سلام أشاد بدور دول الخليج في دعم لبنان، مما يعكس عمق العلاقات الثنائية. وأكد أن الدعم الخليجي للبنان مستمر، لا سيما من المملكة العربية السعودية وقطر والإمارات.
أما فيما يخص الانتخابات الرئاسية، فشدد العريضي على أن “لا انتخابات رئاسية في الأفق القريب”، مشيرًا إلى فشل الجهود الداخلية، وأن الحل سيكون عبر تسوية دولية وإقليمية تُنهي الحرب وتؤدي إلى انتخاب رئيس.

Al-Aridi Warns: “Israel Plans to Launch a Major Offensive” – Upcoming Days Hold Serious Developments
Political analyst and writer, Wajdi Al-Aridi, warned in an exclusive interview with “Lebanon Debate” about a significant escalation expected from Israel in the coming days. He indicated that Hezbollah’s Media Relations Officer, Haj Mohammad Afif, has laid out a roadmap for the party’s future following the martyrdom of its Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and other senior leaders. Al-Aridi emphasized that Hezbollah has regained its leadership and operational capabilities across all levels, but questions remain: will the war be prolonged, and what developments can be expected in the near future?
Al-Aridi confirmed that current data points to unlimited U.S. support for Israel, which increases the likelihood of a large-scale military escalation, particularly from the Golan Heights and the northern borders, aiming to establish a buffer zone in the coming days.
He pointed out that any talk of de-escalation or ceasefire is “an illusion” and no resolution is expected before the U.S. presidential elections. He explained that the battlefield equation has shifted to “Haifa versus Beirut,” with the potential targeting of new locations and critical infrastructure.
Al-Aridi further stressed that “Israel is moving towards destroying Hezbollah’s infrastructure, but it faces significant challenges due to the battlefield losses it is sustaining.” He warned of the risk of an “internal strife” if developments are not handled wisely, urging all parties to learn from historical lessons.
Regarding the issue of Syrian refugees, Al-Aridi mentioned that the file is being handled seriously under the supervision of General Elias Al-Baysari. He highlighted that national efforts are aligned, including the continuous work of the President of the South Council, Hashem Haidar, under the direction of Speaker Nabih Berri.
On another note, Al-Aridi pointed out that Economy Minister Amin Salam praised the role of Gulf countries in supporting Lebanon, reflecting the depth of bilateral relations. He confirmed that Gulf support for Lebanon continues, especially from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
As for the presidential elections, Al-Aridi emphasized that “there are no presidential elections on the horizon,” noting the failure of internal efforts, and that a resolution will come through an international and regional settlement that ends the war and leads to the election of a president.
