إستغل نزوح سكان صور لإقتحام منازلهم… و”المعلومات” تكشف هويته

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued a statement saying: “As part of its daily efforts to combat crime across Lebanon, especially given the current situation in the country, the Information Division obtained intelligence regarding an unknown individual carrying out thefts from residential apartments in Tyre and surrounding areas, exploiting the residents’ displacement due to the war.”

The statement added, “Immediately, specialized units of the division intensified their field and intelligence efforts, and through investigations and inquiries, they were able to identify the suspect as M. N. (born in 1988, Palestinian), who has a criminal record for theft.”

It also noted, “On October 3, 2024, after close monitoring, one of the division’s patrols arrested him in Tyre. A search of his belongings revealed cash, mobile phones, jewelry, internet devices, and other items.”

The statement continued, “During interrogation, he confessed to entering damaged apartments affected by the bombings and stealing what he could find. He also admitted to drug use. Legal proceedings were initiated, and he, along with the confiscated items, was handed over to the competent authorities under judicial orders.”
