ملخص الوظيفة:
يعمل الأخصائي الاجتماعي مع الأشخاص لدعمهم خلال الأوقات الصعبة والتأكد من حماية الفئات الضعيفة، بما في ذلك الأطفال والبالغين، من الأذى. تشمل مسؤولياته تقديم الدعم لتمكين المستفيدين من مساعدة أنفسهم. يحافظ على علاقات مهنية مع المستفيدين، ويعمل كمرشد ومناصر لهم.

المهام والمسؤوليات الرئيسية:

1. الأنشطة التشغيلية:

• تقديم خدمات الاستماع والاستشارة للأفراد، وتعبئة الملف الاجتماعي وإدخال المعلومات في النظام.
• الاستجابة للحالات الطارئة وتشغيل خط المساعدة على مدار 24 ساعة للحالات العاجلة.
• التنسيق مع المحامين لتقديم الاستشارات القانونية وتحويل المستفيدين إلى مقدمي الخدمات المناسبين عند الحاجة.
• القيام بزيارات منزلية لتقييم احتياجات الأسر.
• إجراء زيارات ميدانية بناءً على المتابعة اللازمة لكل مستفيد.
• التعاون مع العاملين في الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي لتحديد المشاركين في الجلسات.
• متابعة جميع الإجراءات المتعلقة بالحالات الفردية حتى تحقيق النتائج المرجوة.
• إجراء المقابلات الشهرية مع مشرف إدارة الحالة وغيرها من المهام المطلوبة.
• إعداد تقارير شهرية حول تقدم حالات المستفيدين والأنشطة المنفذة.
• تحديث قائمة المستفيدين أسبوعيًا.
• العمل أحيانًا في عطلات نهاية الأسبوع لحضور فعاليات المجتمعات المحلية أو تنظيم أنشطة للأشخاص المعرضين للخطر.
• العمل أحيانًا بعد ساعات العمل في حالات طارئة مثل التحقيقات أو المشكلات الطبية.
• المشاركة في التدريبات والمؤتمرات وحضور الاجتماعات.
• تقييم وتخطيط وتنفيذ الأنشطة بالتنسيق مع الموظفين المعنيين عند الضرورة.
• تحويل الحالات إلى الأخصائي النفسي للحصول على المشورة والمساعدة.
• التنسيق مع الشركاء وأصحاب المصلحة لتجنب التكرار وتقديم خدمات أفضل.
• أداء المهام الإدارية والدعم الكتابي.

2. المهام العامة:

• اتباع سياسات وإجراءات كاريتاس لبنان التشغيلية.
• احترام السياسات الداخلية مثل: قواعد اللباس، الحضور، الانضباط، إلخ.
• إكمال الجداول الزمنية والخطط والأنشطة والتصرف ضد أي نقص.
• حل أي مشاكل متعلقة بالموظفين والتصعيد إلى المدير المعني عند الحاجة.
• أداء مهام أخرى حسب توجيهات المشرف.

المعرفة الوظيفية:

المؤهلات الأكاديمية:

• درجة البكالوريوس في العمل الاجتماعي.

المؤهلات الأخرى:

• مهارات التواصل، الكتابة، التحليل، والتفاوض.

الخبرة العملية ذات الصلة:

• من 2 إلى 3 سنوات من الخبرة في مجال ذي صلة.

المهارات اللغوية:

• إجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.

إجادة الحاسوب:

• مستوى متوسط في برامج MS-Word وMS-Excel.

Social Worker – Caritas Lebanon

Job Summary:
The Social Worker (SW) works with individuals to support them through difficult times and ensure that vulnerable people, including children and adults, are safeguarded from harm. Their role is to provide assistance to enable service users to help themselves. They maintain professional relationships with service users, acting as guides and advocates.

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Operational Activities:

• Provide listening and counseling services to individuals, fill out social files, and integrate all related information into the system.
• Respond to emergency cases, run the 24-hour helpline, and manage urgent cases.
• Liaise with lawyers for legal consultations and refer beneficiaries to relevant service providers when needed.
• Conduct home visits to assess the needs of households.
• Conduct field visits depending on the follow-up required for each beneficiary.
• Collaborate with PSS workers to identify participants for PSS sessions.
• Ensure proper follow-up on all actions required for individual cases until desired outcomes are achieved.
• Conduct monthly interviews with the Case Management Supervisor and handle other required duties.
• Report critical cases to the Case Management Supervisor for final approval on actions to be taken.
• Prepare monthly progress reports on beneficiaries’ cases and activities implemented.
• Update the beneficiary list weekly.
• Occasionally work on weekends to attend community events or organize activities for vulnerable persons.
• Occasionally work on weekends or after regular working hours for urgent cases (investigations, medical issues, etc.).
• Participate in trainings, conferences, and attend meetings.
• Assess, plan, and implement activities in coordination with relevant staff when necessary.
• Refer cases to psychologists for counseling and assistance.
• Coordinate with other partners/stakeholders to avoid duplication and ensure better service delivery.
• Perform administrative and secretarial support tasks.

2. Generic Duties:

• Follow Caritas Lebanon’s operational policies and procedures.
• Respect internal policies and procedures, such as dress code, attendance, and discipline.
• Complete schedules, activity planners, and address any shortfalls.
• Resolve staff-related issues and escalate unresolved matters to the relevant manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Knowledge:

Academic:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.

Other Qualifications:

• Strong communication, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Related Work Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English and Arabic.

Computer Literacy:

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
