خبير يُطمئن مستخدمي الهواتف المحمولة… بعد تفجير الـ”بيجر”
بعدما هزت انفجارات متتالية ومتزامنة لأجهزة اتصالات لاسلكية محمولة يستخدمها عناصر من حزب الله عدة مناطق في لبنان، أصبحت تفاصيل الهاتف المحمول وخطورته وأسباب انفجاره مربط الفرس.
فقد انهالت الأسئلة خصوصا عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيما إذا كانت هواتفنا خطرا علينا بأن تنفجر بأي وقت.
وللإجابة عن هذا السؤال، أفاد خبير تكنولوجيا المعلومات المصري أسامة مصطفى في حديث مع “العربية”، بأن “ما حدث في لبنان كان مقصوداً، إذ تم تفخيخ أجهزة البيجر التي كانت قادمة ضمن شحنة وردت لحزب الله قبل حوالي 4 شهور بمتفجرات حساسة”.
وأكد أن “بطارية الهاتف العادية لا تؤدي لمثل هذا الانفجار، وخاصة أن بطارية البيجر صغيرة جدا”.
كما نوّه إلى أن، “الهواتف المحمولة يمكن تفخيخها، ولكن الانفجارات التي تحدث من بطاريات الهواتف المحمولة نادرا ما تحدث ولا تؤدي إلى مثل هذه الانفجارات الهائلة ولا تحدث بسلسلة متتابعة”.
كذلك طمأن مستخدمي الهواتف المحمولة من أن “حدوث انفجار لأجهزتهم بسبب سخونة البطارية أمر نارد الحدوث ولا يسبب مثل هذه الكوارث ويحدث في حالات استثنائية”.
دائما ما ينوه خبراء تكولوجيا المعلومات إلى ضرورة تجنب تعريض الهاتف للحرارة أو تركه في الشمس، لتجنب ارتفاع حرارته وانفجاره.
ويؤكد الخبراء أن اختيار كابلات وبطاريات عالية الجودة لشحن الهاتف المحمول، وتجنب الأنواع الرديئة المُنتشرة في الأسواق، والتي لا تستجيب للمواصفات ولا توفر العزل المُناسب، وتتسبب في ماس واشتعال الهاتف، أحد الأسباب الهامة التي تحمي الهاتف من الانفجار.
كذلك فإن تجنب تشغيل كثير من التطبيقات على الهاتف، وإغفال إغلاقها، ما يرفع حرارة الجهاز، خاصةً في الصيف، قد يحمي البطارية من التلف أو الانفجار.
وينصح خبراء تكنولوجيا المعلومات دائما بأهمية تفعيل عامل الحماية “Charging protection”، الموجود في أغلب الهواتف، لوقف الشحن تلقائياً، موضحين أن استمرار الشحن حتى بعد 100%، يجعل الخطر قائماً باستهلاك البطارية والتأثير عليها وتقصير عمرها.
يشار إلى أن لبنان، أمس الثلاثاء، كان على موعد مع حالة فوضى عمت مختلف المناطق لاسيما المستشفيات التي عجت بمئات المصابين جراء انفجارات غامضة ومفاجئة طالت آلاف أجهزة النداء المعروفة بالبيجر والتي يستعملها عناصر حزب الله، اتهمت فيها الجماعة إسرائيل.

**Expert Reassures Mobile Phone Users After Pager Explosions**
Following the series of simultaneous explosions of wireless communication devices used by Hezbollah members across various areas in Lebanon, concerns have risen regarding the safety of mobile phones and the possibility of similar incidents.
Social media was flooded with questions, particularly about whether our mobile phones could suddenly explode at any moment.
To address these concerns, Egyptian IT expert Osama Mustafa told “Al Arabiya” that the incident in Lebanon was deliberate, as the pagers used by Hezbollah were rigged with sensitive explosives, which had been smuggled in through a shipment received around four months ago.
He clarified, “A regular phone battery does not lead to such explosions, especially given that pager batteries are significantly smaller.”
Mustafa also noted that while mobile phones can be rigged to explode, typical battery explosions are extremely rare and unlikely to cause such large-scale, consecutive blasts.
He reassured mobile phone users that overheating batteries are a rare cause of phone explosions and do not result in such catastrophic outcomes, only occurring in exceptional circumstances.
Technology experts frequently advise avoiding exposure of phones to heat or leaving them in the sun to prevent overheating and potential battery explosions.
Additionally, experts emphasize the importance of using high-quality cables and batteries for charging, avoiding substandard products widely available in the market. Low-quality accessories often lack proper insulation, leading to electrical short circuits and, in some cases, causing phones to catch fire or explode.
Moreover, limiting the number of running applications and ensuring they are closed properly, especially during summer, can help protect the battery from overheating or damage.
IT professionals also stress the importance of activating the “Charging Protection” feature available in most smartphones, which automatically stops charging when the battery reaches 100%. Continuing to charge after the battery is full can pose a risk by overloading the battery and reducing its lifespan.
It’s important to note that Lebanon was thrown into chaos on Tuesday after a wave of mysterious and sudden explosions struck thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah members. The blasts, which occurred across multiple locations, resulted in hundreds of injuries, particularly in hospitals, and were attributed to Israeli interference by Hezbollah.
