الغرض من الوظيفة:
مدير الحماية مسؤول عن الإشراف الفني والتنسيق لجميع الأنشطة المتعلقة بالحماية عبر المشاريع ضمن منطقة التدخل. سيضمن المرشح تلبية احتياجات التدريب وبناء القدرات للعاملين في مجال الحماية الميدانية في الوقت المناسب، وأن خدمات وأنشطة الحماية تتوافق مع معايير الجودة في القطاع.
المسؤوليات العامة:
- الإشراف الفني: قيادة وتنسيق والإشراف العام على جميع الأنشطة المتعلقة بالحماية في منطقة التدخل.
- تطوير أو تكييف الأدوات والآليات المتعلقة بالحماية لضمان نهج متسق عبر المشاريع.
- مراقبة وبناء قدرات الموظفين على المهام والأدوات والعمليات المتعلقة بالحماية.
- دعم الموظفين في تحديد وإيصال احتياجات الفئات الأكثر ضعفًا وضمان أن الحماية مضمنة في جميع أنشطة المشروع.
- تقديم الدعم والنصيحة والتوجيه للموظفين في القضايا عالية الخطورة والاستجابات للحوادث والمخاوف المتعلقة بالحماية.
- المشاركة في الاجتماعات التنسيقية الفنية والقيام بمراجعة وتحليل المعلومات والبيانات التي تم جمعها من خلال أنشطة الحماية.
المؤهلات:
- شهادة بكالوريوس في مجال ذي صلة (مثل العلوم الاجتماعية، علم النفس، العمل الاجتماعي، حقوق الإنسان، القانون الإنساني الدولي، أو أي مجال آخر ذي صلة بالتنمية الاجتماعية والعمل الإنساني).
- خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في قطاع الحماية (منها سنة واحدة على الأقل في دور إشرافي).
- معرفة تقنية ممتازة في الحماية الإنسانية (بما في ذلك إدارة الحالات، أنشطة الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي، إشراك المجتمع، العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي).
- خبرة في إدارة المشاريع وكتابة التقارير.
- إجادة استخدام برامج MS Office (Word، Excel، PowerPoint، إلخ).
- مهارات اتصال وكتابة ممتازة.
- رخصة قيادة صادرة منذ أكثر من سنتين.
اللغات:
- الطلاقة في اللغة العربية والإنجليزية.

Established in 1992 with support from the Italian Federation of Trade Unions, its actions are based on the values of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights and opportunities for all people, and respect for diversity and coexistence, with particular attention to the most vulnerable and unprotected.
INTERSOS identifies with the core values of CONCORD, the European Confederation of NGOs; it adheres to international codes of conduct for humanitarian organizations and the values and principles expressed within those codes. INTERSOS is recognized by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the European Commission, and the principal UN agencies; it is privileged to hold an advisory status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Job Purpose:
The Protection Manager is responsible for the technical supervision and coordination of all protection-related activities across projects within the area of intervention. They will ensure that training and capacity-building needs of field protection staff are timely addressed and that the protection services and activities meet quality standards in the sector.
General Responsibilities:
- Technical Oversight: Lead, coordinate, and provide overall supervision of all protection-related activities in the area of intervention.
- Develop or contextualize protection-related tools and mechanisms to ensure a consistent approach across projects.
- Monitor and build staff capacity on protection-related tasks, tools, and processes.
- Support staff in identifying and reaching the most vulnerable within the community.
- Provide support, advice, and guidance to protection staff on high-risk cases and responses to serious incidents.
- Participate in technical coordination meetings and review and analyze information and data collected from protection activities.
Qualifications:
- BA in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law, or other fields related to social development and humanitarian work).
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the protection sector (including at least one year in a supervisory role).
- Excellent technical knowledge in humanitarian protection (including case management, psychosocial support activities, community engagement, gender-based violence).
- Experience in project management and report writing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- A valid driver’s license issued more than 2 years ago.
Languages:
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
