أُختتم اليوم الأول من مفاوضات إنهاء الحرب في غزة في قطر دون الإعلان عن أي بوادر إيجابية يمكن أن تترجم في الوقت القريب، فيما كان العالم ينتظر ما ستؤول إليه هذه الجولة الجديدة من المفاوضات لجهة إمكانية التوصل إلى هدنة لوقف العدوان على غزة.
في هذا الإطار، يؤكّد مسؤول العلاقات الإعلامية لحركة حماس في لبنان محمود طه، في حديث لـ “ليبانون ديبايت”, أن “جولة المفاوضات التي بدأت لم تتوصل إلى أي جديد على عكس الأخبار الإيجابية التي تُشاع عبر الإعلام، فالعدو الإسرائيلي غير جدي في التعاطي والمقترح الأميركي الذي تم وصفه بأنه جيّد هو يتماهى ويتناغم ويتماشى مع رغبة نتنياهو وأهدافه”.
ويقول طه: “نحن نعتبر أن هذه الجولة لم تأتِ بأي شيء يساهم ويعمل لأجل وقف العدوان على غزة، وبالتالي أي مفاوضات يمكن البدء بها يجب أن تستند على الوثيقة التي قبلت بها حركة “حماس” في 2 تموز الماضي ورفضها العدو الإسرائيلي، لذلك يجب العمل على وضع خطة لتنفيذ ما جاء في هذه الوثيقة، لكن على ما يبدو لا يوجد أي نتيجة، وحتى الجولة الثانية التي ستعقد في نهاية الأسبوع المقبل نعتبرها مضيعة للوقت وإعطاء المزيد من الفرص لنتنياهو لإرتكاب المجازر”.
ويشدّد على أنه “ليس هناك جدية أميركية في التوصل لإتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، لو كان هناك نوايا صادقة كان من الممكن التوصل لهدنة في هذا الوقت إلى حين بدء الجولة الجديدة من المفاوضات، وعلى الأقل كان تم وقف إطلاق النار والمجازر لمدة أسبوع، إلّا أن الأميركي غير جدي حتى اليوم، ولا يزال يزوّد ويساند العدو الإسرائيلي بالمال والسلاح والقرار السياسي، ولهذا السبب هو شريك مع العدو الإسرائيلي ويتحمّل مسؤولية بالدرجة الأولى ما يحصل من جرائم ومجازر في قطاع غزة”.
ويختم طه حديثه: “لا نعول على هذه المفاوضات لأن الأميركي ليس وسيطًا نزيهًا، ونحن نطلب من الوسطاء القطريين والمصريين الضغط الحقيقي والجدي على نتنياهو لوقف العدوان، وإلّا غير ذلك نحن في المقاومة وحركة “حماس” سنبقى مستمرين بما بدأنا به ولن نعمل إلّا بما يخدم مصالح شعبنا الفلسطيني”.

First Day of Gaza War Negotiations in Qatar Concludes with No Positive Developments
The first day of negotiations to end the war in Gaza concluded in Qatar without any positive developments that could be expected in the near future, leaving the world waiting anxiously for the outcome of this new round of talks, particularly the possibility of reaching a ceasefire to halt the aggression against Gaza.
In this context, Mahmoud Taha, the Media Relations Officer for Hamas in Lebanon, told “Lebanon Debate” that “the negotiation round that started has not led to any new developments, contrary to the positive reports circulating in the media. The Israeli enemy is not serious about engaging, and the American proposal, which has been described as good, aligns with and serves Netanyahu’s interests and goals.”
Taha added, “We believe that this round has not produced anything that contributes to stopping the aggression against Gaza. Therefore, any negotiations that may commence must be based on the document that Hamas agreed to on July 2, which the Israeli enemy rejected. It is crucial to work on implementing the terms of that document. However, it appears that no result has been achieved, and we consider the second round, scheduled for the end of next week, to be a waste of time, giving Netanyahu more opportunities to commit massacres.”
He emphasized that “there is no serious American intent to reach a ceasefire agreement. If there were sincere intentions, a truce could have been reached at this time until the new round of negotiations began. At the very least, there could have been a temporary ceasefire and halt to the massacres for a week. However, the Americans are not serious as of today and continue to support the Israeli enemy with money, weapons, and political backing, making them complicit in the crimes and massacres happening in Gaza.”
Taha concluded by saying, “We do not place much hope on these negotiations because the Americans are not impartial mediators. We call on the Qatari and Egyptian mediators to exert real and serious pressure on Netanyahu to stop the aggression. Otherwise, we in the resistance and Hamas will continue with what we started and will only act in the best interest of the Palestinian people.”
