قالت صحيفة هآرتس إن الحرب الإسرائيلية المتواصلة على قطاع غزة منذ 7 تشرين الأول الماضي تعد ضمن أكثر الحروب دموية منذ بداية القرن الـ21، وأشارت إلى أن الجيش الإسرائيلي قتل كثيرا من الفلسطينيين في المناطق التي سبق أن أعلن أنها آمنة.
وقالت الصحيفة في تحقيق نشرته مساء أمس الأربعاء إن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو دأب على اتهام المجتمع الدولي بالنفاق في موقفه من الحرب على قطاع غزة، مدعيا أنه يتجاهل الصراعات الأخرى والكوارث الإنسانية.
وضربت الصحيفة أمثلة على ذلك، منها قول نتنياهو في كانون الثاني الماضي تعليقا على الدعوى القضائية التي رفعتها جنوب أفريقيا ضد إسرائيل في محكمة العدل الدولية تتهمها بارتكاب إبادة جماعية في غزة “أين كانت جنوب أفريقيا عندما قُتل الملايين أو أُجبروا على النزوح من ديارهم في سوريا واليمن”.
وأوضحت أن التمعن في عدد القتلى في قطاع غزة يكشف أن هذه الحرب من أكثر الحروب دموية منذ بداية القرن، خاصة إذا نظرت إلى معدل الوفيات ونسبة القتلى من عامة الناس.
وأشارت إلى أن “نحو 40 ألف شخص قتلوا في قطاع غزة منذ خلال 10 أشهر من الحرب، وهو ما يمثل نسبة 2% من مجموع السكان البالغ نحو مليوني نسمة”.
وأوضحت أن هذا الرقم غير معتاد في عصر الحروب التي وقعت بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية (1939-1945).
وبشأن استهداف الجيش الإسرائيلي النازحين، قالت الصحيفة إنه على الرغم من أن معظم سكان قطاع غزة أصبحوا نازحين فإن فرارهم إلى المناطق التي يصفها الجيش الإسرائيلي بأنها آمنة لا يجدي نفعا، إذ قُتل الكثيرون في هذه المناطق أيضا.
وسبق أن استهدف الجيش الإسرائيلي أكثر من مرة النازحين الفلسطينيين الذين فروا من العمليات العسكرية إلى مناطق زعمت تل أبيب أنها آمنة، لكنهم لم يسلموا من الاستهداف الإسرائيلي الذي أوقع مئات القتلى والجرحى، أغلبيتهم من الأطفال والنساء.
ولفتت هآرتس إلى أنه منذ بداية الحرب درست العديد من المنظمات الدولية وكذلك الحكومات ووسائل الإعلام مدى مصداقية أرقام القتلى التي تنشرها وزارة الصحة في غزة، وهناك إجماع واسع على أنها موثوقة.
وفي أحدث إحصائية نشرتها وزارة الصحة بغزة أمس فقد استشهد 39 ألفا و965 فلسطينيا وأصيب 92 ألفا و294 جراء حرب إسرائيل على القطاع، كما تجاوز عدد المفقودين تحت الأنقاض 10 آلاف شخص.
وأوضحت الصحيفة أن الحرب في غزة تسببت في وفيات أكثر من بعض الأحداث التي أثارت المجتمع الدولي في السنوات الأخيرة.
ودللت على ذلك بأنه خلال الإبادة الجماعية للروهينغا في ميانمار على سبيل المثال قُتل نحو 25 ألف شخص، بحسب الأمم المتحدة.
وبمقاربة أخرى، قالت هآرتس “على سبيل المثال في يوغسلافيا، ومن أبرز الساحات هناك كانت البوسنة، وفي أسوأ أعوامها (1991) بلغ متوسط عدد الوفيات شهريا 2097، وبلغ إجمالي عدد الوفيات في 4 سنوات هناك 63 ألفا”.
وخلصت هآرتس إلى أن متوسط معدل القتلى في القطاع يقدر بنحو 4 آلاف شهريا، مما يجعل الحرب على غزة ضمن الحروب المتصدرة من حيث عدد الضحايا منذ بداية القرن الـ21.

وفيما يتعلق بالفوارق بين غزة وبقية المناطق، قالت الصحيفة الإسرائيلية إن “الفارق الأكثر وضوحا بين حروب القرن الـ21 الأخرى وما يحدث في غزة هو مساحة منطقة القتال والبالغة 360 كيلومترا مربعا، وعدم قدرة السكان الذين لا يشاركون في القتال على الهروب من القتال، وقبل كل شيء معدل الضحايا من مجموع السكان”.
وقالت إن الأوضاع المعيشية صعبة للغاية في المناطق التي يقول الجيش الإسرائيلي إنها مناطق إنسانية، ويعاني النازحون من الاكتظاظ والعدوى وعدم توفر مأوى آمن، علاوة على نقص الدواء ومقومات الحياة الأساسية.
ووفقا لتقديرات لم تنسبها الصحيفة إلى مصادرها، قُتل نحو 2% من السكان في سوريا كما هو الحال في غزة، ولكن مع فارق مهم وهو أن الحرب مستمرة هناك منذ 13 عاما، وفق هآرتس.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن البروفيسور في جامعة لندن البريطانية مايكل سباغات قوله “فيما يتعلق بنسبة السكان الذين قتلوا أفترض أن الحرب في غزة دخلت بالفعل المراكز الخمسة الأولى في الصراعات العشرة الأكثر عنفا في القرن الـ21″.
وأكد سباغات -وهو متخصص في مراقبة ضحايا الصراعات العنيفة- أنه إذا أخذنا في الاعتبار المدة التي يستغرقها قتل نسبة كبيرة كهذه من السكان (2% من سكان غزة خلال 10 أشهر) فقد تأتي حرب غزة في المركز الأول”.
وأدت الحرب الإسرائيلية على القطاع إلى دمار هائل ومجاعة أودت بحياة عشرات الأطفال، في واحدة من أسوأ الكوارث الإنسانية بالعالم، إذ كشفت وزارة الصحة في القطاع أمس الأربعاء أن الجيش الإسرائيلي قتل 115 طفلا من حديثي الولادة منذ بداية الحرب، وذلك بعد استشهاد الرضيعين إيسل وأيسر اللذين ولدا في 10 آب الجاري.
كما ارتفع عدد ضحايا الجوع وسوء التغذية جراء حرب إسرائيل على قطاع غزة أمس إلى 37 فلسطينيا -بينهم أطفال- وذلك بعد وفاة الطفلة لينا الشيخ خليل البالغة من العمر 4 سنوات في مستشفى شهداء الأقصى وسط القطاع جراء الحرب والحصار.
وسبق أن أعلن جهاز الدفاع المدني في غزة أمس الأربعاء مقتل عنصرين من طواقمه برصاص الجيش الإسرائيلي في مدينة رفح جنوبي القطاع، مما يرفع الحصيلة إلى 82 منذ بداية الحرب.
وفي استهانة بالمجتمع الدولي تواصل إسرائيل الحرب متجاهلة قرار مجلس الأمن الدولي بوقفها فورا وأوامر محكمة العدل الدولية باتخاذ تدابير لمنع أعمال الإبادة الجماعية وتحسين الوضع الإنساني الكارثي في غزة.

According to Haaretz, the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, is one of the deadliest conflicts of the 21st century. The newspaper highlighted that the Israeli military has killed a large number of Palestinians in areas previously declared as safe.
