وحول إمكانية استخدام شركة “ستارلينك”، لفت كريديه إلى “أنّ التواصل مع هذه الشركة يتم عبر وزارة الاتصالات”. وهنا تقول مصادر على تواصل مع “ستارلينك” إنّ “الشركة لم تسلّم الأجهزة الأمنية ما طلبته، لجهة إعطائها حق الرقابة على خطوط الإنترنت، ولم تبدِ أي مرونة في التعاطي مع طلبات مخابرات الجيش، وفرع المعلومات، والأمن العام”، لذا، “أطفأت ستارلينك آخر 5 أجهزة لها كانت تعمل في لبنان، 2 لدى ميقاتي وجهاز عند كلّ من الأجهزة الأمنية الثلاثة، وآخر تواصل مع الشركة لم يكن إيجابياً، خاصة أنّ هذه الأجهزة فعّلت بشكل استثنائي، وكانت تتوقف كل 90 يوماً، ويعاد تشغيلها برسالة إلكترونية خاصة للشركة، ولكن لم تصل أي طلبات جديدة لإعادة التفعيل”.
وعند سؤال “ستارلينك” من قبل وزارة الاتصالات عن “إمكانية تدخلها إنسانياً”، بحسب توصيف المصادر، لناحية تأمين الإنترنت للبنان في حالة الانقطاع الكامل للشبكة، فـ”كانت الإجابة كلا”. وتصف المصادر العلاقة بين “ستارلينك” ووزارة الاتصالات بـ”الدوامة التي ستؤدي إلى عدم دخول الشركة نهائياً”، تريد “ستارلينك” دخول السوق اللبنانية من دون قيود، تقول المصادر، وترفض في المقابل طلبات وزارة الاتصالات بالترخيص لعدد محدّد من الأجهزة، إذ ترى في هذه التصرفات “توزيعاً للإنترنت على عدد من المحظيين”.
