Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain respect, confidentiality, safety/security, and non-discrimination while providing services.
- Provide emotional support group sessions to women at risk of or survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).
- Conduct psychosocial support and awareness sessions for women targeted by the project.
- Plan and conduct GBV awareness sessions at community centers.
- Identify opportunities for awareness-raising and plan sessions in community centers or other safe spaces.
- Organize focus group discussions on relevant topics as needed.
- Ensure accurate, organized, and well-maintained documentation on reported cases and referrals.
- Prepare and submit timely reports on activities, including referral reports, awareness sessions, and psychosocial support sessions.
- Report on individual/household protection and non-protection issues identified and referred to during project activities.
- Consistently monitor and assess the safety and security of women during sessions, promptly reporting concerns or incidents.
- Develop and strengthen referral networks with stakeholders and monitor the implementation of referral pathways.
- Communicate regularly with case management and protection staff for updates on achievements and challenges.
- Network with humanitarian organizations, institutions, societies, and others to support participants in obtaining necessary services inside and outside the community center.
- Develop and implement monthly response plans and GBV key messages based on case trends, in consultation with the Protection Officer.
- Contribute to and regularly update service providers' service mapping within the intervention area.
- Collaborate with the Protection Officer and Project Manager to ensure targets are met and expenditures align with annual and monthly plans.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as requested by the protection officer or project manager
- Provide protection guidance to participants through individual or group sessions.
- Share information on key protection messages, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), rights, and protection services available to participants.
- Assess, mitigate, and report on protection risks encountered during project implementation, specifying the risks and their implications on participants.
- Ensure adherence to GBV guiding principles and the provision of survivor-centered care.
- Accomplish any other assignments given by the Protection officer or the Project Manager to support women and develop B&Z programs.
- Report directly to the Protection Officer or Protection Technical Manager and the Project Manager.
Key Performance Indicators :
- Working within the principles of the Code of Conduct.
- Ensuring that participants have access to the appropriate service.
- Ensuring that the Foundation’s team interacts with participants within the principles of the B&Z, especially preserving dignity and avoiding psychological harm.
- Achieving the required number of participants at the end of the program while ensuring the quality of work.
- Ensure that a safe environment is provided for the child in the institution and the school.
- Create positive communication with the team.
Education & Experience :
- University degree in Sociology or Psychology
- Work experience of not less than two years in the field of psychosocial support
- Experience working with organizations
- Participate in training courses and workshops on protection (child labor, domestic violence, SGBV, etc. …)
