Objective 1: Responsible of the operations in the Center:
Supervision and Coordination of the Center staff (teacher, animators, outreach worker and volunteers) work;
Works with the Education Field Activities Coordinator and Education Officer to design a timetable of activities in the center, as well as develop a plan for monitoring the quality and impact of those activities;
Organizes regular meetings with the center staff in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan. Works together with the staff to regularly review and update the work plan, when needed;
Collects the logistic needs of the centers and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and meets the needs of the program (make procurement requests, check stock, support the delivery of goods to the center etc.);
Regularly coordinates with local suppliers and providers to obtain quotes for center materials and help coordinate the daily provision of snacks for children;
Support the Education Focal point and Child Protection focal point in finalizing all the required data on BTF system
Checking for all the required data collected, attendance, distribution data and distribution sheet including KOBO data and confirmed by the end of each month
Ensures all HR and administrative procedures are in order relating to the center staff (check the contracts for all personnel working in centers, timesheets, IDs, etc.…).
Objective 2: Works with the Education Field Activities Coordinator to identify, train and support drivers who are providing a daily transportation service for children accessing the center.
Objective 3: Coordinates with outreach workers and volunteers to identify vulnerable children in the district and produce materials/host events to promote the work of the center, to the local community.
Objective 4: Supports the Education Field Officers to train center workers on relevant topics (i.e. training teachers and animators on educational curriculum, training all staff on child protection, training drivers on child protection.
Objective 5: Participates in project staff training with other ‘Back to the Future’ consortium staff.
Objective 6 : Act as a focal point within the local community, and meet with other national and intentional INGO staff to coordinate on educational activities in the region.
Objective 7: Reports, Capitalization and Communication
Submit monthly reports to the relevant actors of the project regarding the project progress and changes to the local area context;
Provides the Education Field Coordinator and Program Manager with regular activity and monitoring reports (in English);
Support the team leaders and community facilitators in their communication within the local community and stakeholders;
Responsible for collecting all beneficiary data (child registration forms, child attendance forms, child progress forms etc.) and sharing it with the TDH IT Data Manager on a monthly basis.
And any other duties deemed relevant and assigned by the line manager.
