Under Nafaal Project (Funded by Al Ghoureir Association) LOST is seeking to recruit a Life Skills trainer to provide training for the targeted beneficiaries in Taalabeya/ Qabelias.
Job Descirption:
- Facilitate life skills training sessions for participants, addressing the 12 essential areas: communication, self-awareness, decision-making, problem-solving, creative thinking, critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, empathy, managing emotions, managing stress, resilience, and assertiveness.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching activities using established curriculum materials to ensure comprehensive coverage of each core life skill.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to gauge participants' proficiency and progress in life skills development.
- Create tools and criteria to assess participants' competence in applying life skills to real-life scenarios.
- Provide personalized feedback based on assessment results, pinpointing areas for improvement and offering necessary guidance and support.
- Maintain detailed records of assessment scores, participant progress, and feedback to track performance at both individual and group levels.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Sociology, Social Science or any other related field
- 5 years of experience is a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members
- Ability to show a positive and collaborative approach toward diversity
- Flexibility and ability to deal with cultural differences
- Fluency in English and Arabic
