مطلوب موظف/ة للرصد والتقييم (M&E Officer)

Duty station: Beirut

Reporting to: M&E Manager

Expected starting date: 1/07/2024

Contract duration until 30 September 2024 – with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education required: at least a Bachelor's degree in Economics/ International Relations/Political Science/International Cooperation and related subjects.
• Foreign languages: Excellent knowledge of Arabic; Very Good command of English.
• Degree of experience in the area of expertise: at least 2 years of previous experience in managing monitoring and evaluation activities of international cooperation projects, and all monitoring aspects related to the project. Relevant experience in data collection and analysis is an advantage.
• Degree of experience in cooperation work: at least 1 year of experience in the field of cooperation with an international NGO or other international agency
• Experience in working in Lebanon or similar countries.
• Soft skills: working under pressure, handling different tasks at the time; Organization and Planning skills, teamwork and communication.

Main functions and duties:

• In coordination with the M&E Manager, design and update the monitoring and evaluation plan and indicator chronogram of ongoing projects;
• In coordination with the M&E Manager, implement effective monitoring and evaluation systems and procedures to ensure the quality and consistency of projects’ activities;
• Ensure that all documents related to M&E activities for all ongoing projects are complete, correct and up to date;
• In coordination with the M&E Manager, design, implement, improve and maintain comprehensive quantitative and qualitative tools for project's activities monitoring ensuring their alignment with the needs of measuring logframe indicators and of overall monitoring of the projects;
• Implement data collection activities, analyze continuously activities' progress and monitor results in terms of timeliness, quality and accuracy, in line with the logical framework approach;
• Support the data collection for baseline at the beginning of the project for each planned indicator by collecting relevant and accurate data;
• Ensure efficient and correct data management including data cleaning and data storage in the appropriate project folders;
• Support the preparation and drafting of the annual monitoring report and of the monitoring reports of each project, as needed;
• Support in the facilitation of the external evaluation processes for every project, as needed;
• Support in the smooth roll-out and implementation of feedback and complaint mechanisms for projects, as needed
• Participate in monitoring and evaluation meetings with ICU project managers, relevant stakeholders and partners;
• Other necessary duties as assigned (i.e. support in designing and editing new project proposals and support in translating M&E Tools from/to Arabic or from/to English)
