- He receives the meat daily and makes sure it is of good quality.
- Clean the meat refrigerator in the meat area.
- He carries out the instructions of the kitchen chef.
- Prepares the necessary food materials for cooking in the required quantities.
- Cooks' food for each diet type according to the daily schedule upon request.
- Ensures the quality of fresh food.
- He is committed to implementing the required health conditions when preparing food.
- Maintains the temperature of the prepared food within the required range.
- Takes care of the required papers related to the ISO food safety law in the kitchen.
- It takes the blame of the refrigerators in all sections of the kitchen.
- Provides the ingredients required to prepare food in the necessary quantities from the refrigerator and storage room.
- It makes sure that food items are free of dirt and microbes.
- Ensures that kitchen utensils are safe to use.
- Maintains the safety, cleanliness, and arrangement of the cooking area.
- Ensures the cleanliness of used tools.
- Helps food servers and servers ensure a presentable appearance for the food served.
- Pays attention to the expiration date of each product in the kitchen departments and adheres to applying the FEFO system.
- It divides the types of food in the refrigerator or freezer according to the correct method followed by food safety laws.
- He adheres to the internal regulations approved by the hospital in general and the department or department in particular.
