JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and deliver engaging and effective literacy and
English language lessons tailored for adult learners
with varying skill levels.
Develop a curriculum that incorporates basic reading,
writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Utilize various teaching methodologies to cater to
different learning styles and ensure accessibility for all
participants.
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning
environment where women feel comfortable
participating and making mistakes.
Integrate practical applications of literacy and English
language skills into the curriculum, focusing on everyday communication and real-world scenarios.
Track student progress and provide constructive
feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching methods
and curriculum, and suggest improvements.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
that celebrates cultural
Collaborate effectively with other EMBRACE program
staff.
Measurability (KPIs):
– Student Learning:
– Pre and post-program assessments to evaluate literacy and English
language skills.
– Student self-evaluations on their confidence and progress in reading,
writing, listening, and speaking English.
– Completion of practical tasks and assignments that demonstrate
acquired literacy and English language skills.
– Program Impact:
– Number of women completing the literacy and English language
program.
– Participant feedback on the program's delivery and effectiveness in improving their
literacy and communication skills.
