الوصف:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Coordinate, prepare, and organize all activities and tasks set under the project.
- Follow up on the planning and the execution of work, and oversee the management and activities with all colleagues and partners in the project, and support the team in delivering their work that is under his/her supervision.
- Facilitate the work of the financial manager and accountants by providing all necessary documents for regular financial report.
- Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the both organizations
- Monitor the implementation and progress of the project according to approved stated objectives, work plan, budget, and record progress by working closely with the project team, and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Monitor the progress of the project against set indicators in a timely manner
- Participate evaluations of the impact of the project on the beneficiaries with support from the project team
- Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures; ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date
- Ensure procurement requests are presented on a timely basis to facilitate timely implementation of field activities, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability in compliance with LEM and donor regulations and procedures;
- Prepare project narrative reports with the support of Project team;
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards;
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to the project locations to ensure quality implementation.
- Coordinate internally with finance, procurement, M&E, HR, and program development teams, ensuring a consistent approach to project design, implementation and close out;
- Employ resourcefulness in project design, implementation, and monitoring;
- Trouble shoots project problems, and identify and implement creative solution;
- Answer and follow up with all doner requests and reporting system in relation to the tasks and activities managed under his/her responsibilities;
- REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTION
- The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
knowledge, experience & skills:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, fieldwork, or a related role. (Preferable at NGOs/iNGOs).
- Experience in managing and coordinating projects from initiation to completion.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and project beneficiaries.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in Arabic and English are required
- Additional skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for project management.
- Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
