للانضمام الى مجموعتنا لنشر الوظائف عبر الواتساب اضغط هناThe project Manager works to assist “Danida” project team with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. He/she organizes the project with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
Job Description :
- Manage the project activities of LOST in the designated areas ensuring that the activities are responsive to the needs of the community identified by the project.
- Manage and oversee all project plans and such as project plans, schedules, work plan, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Coordinate with the SMT and the HR department for building the project team according to qualifications and needs
- Coordinate, attend, and actively engage in stakeholder meetings.
- Disseminate information to the stakeholders regarding the new updates of the project
- Document and follow up on key actions and decisions arising from meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence to project deadlines, donor requirement, local rules and regulations.
- Identify and communicate necessary project changes according to identified contextual deviations.
- Formulate comprehensive project strategies particularly related to the detailed implementation of the project activities.
- Ensure projects comply with established frameworks, maintaining accurate documentation for each project.
- Evaluate project risks and issues in coordination with the security focal point at LOST and the Lebanese Local Authorities (LAF, ISF…), offering viable solutions when applicable.
- Manage stakeholder perspectives and expectations toward optimal project outcomes.
- Chair and facilitate meetings when appropriate, ensuring distribution of meeting minutes to all project team members.
- Establish and maintain a project management calendar outlining goals and objectives.
- Ensure close coordination with relevant government institutions
- Develop the capacity of the team through identifying their needs and designing the needed capacity building process
- Create and sustain a working environment based on LOST’s values
- Actively coordinate with the partners in the implementation of the activities
- Ensure the LOST and the partners are in constant coordination and cooperation for achieving the project goals
- Ensure compliance with the donor’s and partner’s requirements in addition to adherence to LOST’s internal governance rules and regulations
Experience and Technical Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science , Business Managment, Sociology or any other related field
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a humanitarian context in Lebanon, and more precisely in the Education sector
- Demonstrated experience in project managing, project-level monitoring and evaluation, program budgeting, and program development and design across a range of projects, as well as active management of diverse teams and cultures.
General Skills :
- Communication and reporting skills, preferably from a multi-cultural environment
- Working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, and making decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
- Positively influencing team members to achieve results that are in the best interest of the beneficiaries
- Having detail-oriented reporting skills
- Performing under pressure
- Being proficient in English, and Arabic in both written and oral skills
Computer Skills :
- Microsoft office – all applications
- Software applications required for daily operations
