Under the Youth training and Employment program conducted in partnership with UNICEF, the Field Assistant is mainly responsible for offering support in activity implementation and monitoring.
The tasks include the following:
- Follow up with the data entry volunteers and ensure proper, valid, and timely data entry.
- Follow up with potential partners on their proposal submission process through ensuring a smooth registration process and preparation of orientation sessions with partners.
- Support the FC in conducting orientation sessions for training courses, PSEA Awareness sessions, and individual one-on-one interviews with the youth candidates.
- Conduct monitoring visits to all activities (Competency-Based Trainings, Youth Basic Literacy and Numeracy Courses, Youth Functional Skills Courses, Cash For Work (CFW), and Life-skills packages) and ensuring all activities are in alignment with program requirements including (course tracking, course quality, attendance, visibility, accountability, and child protection, etc..).
- Maintain records of monitoring visits through proper tools developed for this purpose in coordination with FC and Area Manager.
- Conduct motivation sessions with the youth beneficiaries and their care-givers, under the guidance of FC.
- Support the FC in conducting the CFW risk assessments and conduct with the FC CFW sites monitoring visits.
- Follow on the employment tracking and update the data-base accordingly.
- Support in the office work as needed.
Qualifications:
- A university undergraduate degree is required.
- Strong organization, time-management, analytical, and communication skills needed.
- Previous experience in activity monitoring is a plus.
- Previous experience in NGOs and Youth and Training programs is a plus.
