Under the supervision of the ERD Senior MEAL Officer, the enumerator will support in the registration of the clients at the livelihood center in ERD wadi Khaled center, and if needed to support in filling the baseline and endline surveys related to IRC’s implemented livelihood project in Lebanon. The registration will be in person and over the phone, IRC will provide the enumerator with a phone scenario, tablet or laptop for data collection and mobile phone. In the period of 5 working days over a period of 6 months , it is expected that the enumerator completes registration form on CommCare in compliance with IRC policies and as per the schedule.
Deliverables:
- Interview beneficiaries before registration in the livelihood centers. Fill the registration form with the eligible clients covering background information, household profile, education level, employment history and interest in Livelihood services.
- Provide each Livelihoods Center applicant with an ID card with a unique QR code for accessing any potential Livelihood Center service.
- Provide front-desk coverage during working hours of the Livelihoods Center to introduce and explain about the services offered at the centers.
- Participate in data collection for several ERD assessments and Monitoring and Evaluation activities: intake, baseline, outcome, end line, post distribution monitoring and other follow ups with clients whether on field or by phone.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively with the clients.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to gather information in an objective, appropriate and sensitive way.
- Ability to act with appropriate respect to the beneficiaries’ cultures and traditions.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of technology such as tablets.
- Expertise to enter, transcribe, record, maintain data/information in written or electronic forms.
