General objective

The Placement Officer will play a crucial role in connecting people with disabilities to cash-for-work opportunities and contributing to the mission of promoting a culture of disability inclusion in workplaces. This includes ensuring decent work and equal employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

1. Contribute to the mission of embedding a disability inclusion culture in workplaces, decent work, and equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities:

  • Represent arcenciel’s values, culture, and spirit when welcoming job seekers to the employment office.
  • Conduct profiling for every candidate visiting the employment office.
  • Listen actively to every candidate and record all the necessary information on the used software.
  • Implement the job carving process.
  • Recommend tailored services, including advanced training and coaching programs.
  • Assist in preparing content for professional guidance and job readiness sessions.
  • Maintain equal job opportunities for candidates with disabilities.
  • Follow up weekly with each candidate and update the information accordingly.
  • Evaluate results and progress of beneficiaries.
  • Issue different types of reports as requested, through the used software.
  • Implement project activities while respecting the work plan, timeline, targets, and all the donors’ requirements.
  • Conduct field visits and coordination between headquarters and centers.
  • Navigate between centers to provide the needed support and follow-up for all the beneficiaries.
  • Collect data and applications, organize them, and add them to the software and one drive.

2. Promote disability inclusion in corporate social responsibility:

  • Gather information and feedback from companies.
  • Report on the clients' work environment and coordinate with Disability Inclusion Officer to ensure accessibility and inclusion.
  • Promote the mission and objectives of the employment unit among companies and centers.
  • Assist, facilitate, and participate in raising awareness and promoting the inclusion training provided to companies on the recruitment of people with disabilities.
  • Promote disability inclusion in the workplace and inclusive employment.
  • Acknowledge and promote the application of the law 220/2000 and CRPD.
  • Persuade companies in the inclusivity process of the employment process, reach the target, and create continuous impact.

3. Assist in other required tasks as needed.
