Who we are ?

Ghawth is a local NGO established in 2009 by a group of doctors in Lebanon. The aim for establishing this NGO is to enhance the medical services for refugees and host community, and to ensure that the most vulnerable population groups will have access to primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare services.

Mission:

We deliver primary and secondary healthcare services to all those in need and affected by conflict, disaster and disease, no matter where they are, no matter what the conditions.

Vision:

Vulnerable populations have equitable access to basic services through the national system.

Accountability to the communities where Ghawth works, as well as with displaced persons and refugees.

What we do ?

Ghawth for Relief and Emergency is managing four medical centers in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Beqaa, and Arsal.

In addition, for the ninth year in a row, Ghawth has been providing support to Syrian refugee dialysis patients in Lebanon.

DESCRIPTION:

Administrative tasks

  • Organize files and keep records related to the office.
  • Ensure all data is properly archived according to Ghawth filing system.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Answer and direct external parties to the appropriate internal resource, whether by telephone, in-person, or email.
  • Book conference calls, rooms, taxis, couriers, hotels, etc.
  • Record minutes of meetings and distribute them when needed.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information for reports to your management team.
  • Draft letters or emails, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents. These may be specifically related to the office, or you may be assisting an executive with their work.
  • Support programs with project documentation.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Implement clerical duties and administrative processes.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Secures information by completing database backups..
  • Perform other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned.
