DT Global is seeking a Junior Finance and Administration Officer for the Innovation for Affordable and Renewable Energy for All (INARA) Activity under the Initiative to Deliver Essential Assistance and Services (IDEAS) Project for USAID in Lebanon with DT Global.
Through the INARA Activity, which started in September 2021, USAID seeks to increase the supply of electricity generation at the community level and to increase the cost-effectiveness, eco-friendliness, sustainability, and reliability of power supply, while also clarifying and strengthening the enabling environment for renewable energy-based electrical power generation in Lebanon.
This position will be full time and based in Beirut, Lebanon.
Role and Responsibilities
The Junior Finance and Administration Officer will provide support to INARA’s Finance and Operations team, ensuring adherence to DT Global policies and procedures as well as USAID regulations. S/He will be reporting to INARA’s Procurement and Grants Manager.
Specific duties include:
The Junior Finance and Administration Officer’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports (organizing, filling, scanning, etc.).
- Processing petty cash payment transactions while ensuring compliance with INARA, DT Global and USAID policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that all financial transactions are done with integrity and cost effectiveness as necessary for achieving the program goals.
- Completing data entry for all expense transactions.
- Coordinating with Subcontractors and Vendors on payment collection.
- Tracking staff leave, timesheets, staff travel and updating related trackers.
- Assisting in Due Diligence and Vetting processes.
- Conducting any other requested administrative task as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years' experience in the necessary fields.
- Strong written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills and strong organizational skills.
- Proactive and capable of working independently as well as being an active member of the team.
- Preference for experience working on USAID projects.
- A Lebanese citizen.
