Farah Social Foundation (FSF) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, committed to the International human rights law and International humanitarian law and abides by their provisions; founded in 1988 and registered in Lebanon under number 320/20.
Mission: Project Coordinator mission is to effectively plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project.
Brief: Project Coordinator is responsible for all the operational activities, monitoring the progress of the project and its efficiency (Quality, time and budget) and coordinating with the team members, kitchen staff, suppliers, distributors, local authorities and beneficiaries to ensure the proper implementation and meet the strategic objectives of the project.
Job duties:
- Overseeing the vulnerability assessment of beneficiaries taking into consideration factors like demographics, cultural preferences, dietary requirements, and the severity of the situation with the field officer.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for both the weekly meal distribution, biweekly fresh vegetables and food parcels distribution.
- Compiling and submitting timely and accurate reports to management.
- Coordinate with suppliers, volunteers, and local partners to ensure timely procurement and preparation of meals and food parcels
- Coordinate and communicate with the food safety expert to follow the ISO standards in the community kitchen.
- Distribute the tasks and responsibilities for the team.
- Follow up with the procurement department to ensure the purchase of raw materials needed and keep the inventory up to date.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate supply of meals and food parcels
- Maintain open communication channel with beneficiaries, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Perform others duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain and monitor project plans, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organize, attend, and participate in meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Determine project changes, and ensure that projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Developmental studies, Social sciences, Business Majors, or another related field.
- Experience in Donor Funded Projects.
- Verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of the team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks including competency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and schedules.
Experience: From 3 to 7 years.
