Job Purpose: Basmeh and Zeitooneh are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Officer to join our organization. The IT Officer will be responsible for handling hardware, software, networking, IT asset management, and field visits to all centers located throughout Lebanon. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills in addition to Familiarity with Winbox MikroTik is required.
Reporting To: Regional IT Manager
Main Responsibilities :
Hardware Support:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, servers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of hardware equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements.
Software Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
- Troubleshoot software-related problems and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure software is up to date with the latest patches and security updates.
- Assist end-users with software-related inquiries and provide training when necessary.
Networking:
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
IT Asset Management:
- Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Monitor the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, and disposal.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with IT asset management policies.
Field Visits:
- Visit all centers located throughout Lebanon to provide IT support and maintenance.
- Resolve technical issues and ensure smooth IT operations at each center.
- Train staff at various centers on IT systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to address IT requirements and challenges.
Winbox MikroTik:
- Utilize Winbox, a management tool provided by MikroTik, to configure and administer network devices.
- Access and configure routers, switches, and other MikroTik devices using Winbox.
- Familiarity with Winbox features, including monitoring network traffic, managing firewall rules, and configuring wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Winbox connectivity and functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest versions of Winbox and implement necessary upgrades when required.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an IT Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT asset management.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
- Experience in conducting field visits and providing on-site support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Flexibility to travel to different centers in Lebanon as required.
- Familiarity with Winbox MikroTik for network device management.
