The role of the Finance Officer is to provide appropriate levels of security and internal controls over the organization’s resources and operations in compliance with the policies and standards of the Save the Children Financial Manual. Additionally, the Finance Officer needs to ensure that SCI sub-grants are well implemented and reported in conformity with the generally accepted accounting principle and reporting standard.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance and Partnership.
- Very good written and spoken English and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and financial software such as Agresso.
- Analytical skills and accuracy.
- Prior experience with donors’ requirements and NGOs.
- Comply with the requirements of Save the Children’s Safeguarding Policy and other Global Policies.
- A commitment to promoting diversity and equality of opportunity in employment and empathy with SC values and objectives.
